So I'm moving to the bay area. Yeah, for guns it's sub-optimal, but for my career/life it's gonna be great, and It's a good innawoods/desert state. The AR that I am currently building is gonna get sold off because fuck bullet buttons, so I need some ideas for some compliant guns. Currently considering an M1 Tanker Garand, and M1A/M14, or a non-shit era Marlin Guide Gun. Anything else I should keep in mind?
>>30462105
Buy all your off roster handguns prior to moving in state. Once you're here, you're outta luck getting anything that isn't on the list.
Keep your hi caps outta state. Either give them to a friend for safe keeping or sell them.
Bullet buttons are t that bad (if you don't know anything else).
Welcome anon!

Tragically, I know the joy of proper salt rifles. 10rnd limit for handguns, right? Anything not super pricey you would recommend picking up before I go? I was planning on getting a 1911, but since those are kosher I should probably get something I couldn't get otherwise.
>>30462249
Many 1911s aren't on the safe roster because it's not by design, but by manufacturer/model, and new models can't be added to the list. New ones can go at a premium.
Also any M1A must be CA compliant because the stock M1A's flash hider is LOL ILLEGAL ASALT WEPPAN.
Can we get an American wallpaper thread goin? I need some more.
Fucking love that shit^ my background for like a year

While yes, other than 49 people not dying, there is also a 6 letter word that instantly keeps any murder stories and such out of the news

>Instead of three mission modules being available to switch out on deployment, the Navy is looking at moving to a “one ship, one mission” approach, where each LCS will be designated as surface, anti-submarine or mine countermeasures ships with the ability to switch out if needed.
>Instead of three mission modules that can switched out in theater, we will move [to] something simpler: one ship, one mission
That's right, want to swap from SUW to ASW? You have to sail all the way back to Wisconsin to do it.

Ever wonder why our groups have been getting taken down for the last 7 months? We know why now. And who. Reports are anonymous.
Here gentlemen is a list of the core group, who operated in secret, who colluded and even lied to take gun pages and posts down on Facebook. This shut off communication and account for many. I'm sure you know at least one person impacted.
They targeted groups with military base names, they targeted gun rights groups, they targeted airsoft and paintball groups. They targeted a lot of foreign gun discussion groups.
They even tried to dox gun owners once.
This reporting groups members consisted of members of the media (ITV and MTV), many web developers, and progressives from many walks of life.
If you had or someone you know had a post or page suspended, these were the people behind it, and in fact of the 73 individuals listed in here it was probably one of 6.

>start manufacturing ar15s with wood
>lefties suddenly stop calling them assault rifles
Would this plan work?
>>30461308
Probably, honestly.
They're kinda retarded
>>30461308
yes but youll also have to call it something else since AR15 is now a trigger word
like the MB 37 or something non nonsensical
lefties are too irrational
So I'm not sure if any of you guys have heard that the European Union wants to raise it's own army. Aside from the political aspects of all this, what do you guys think the capability of such a military would be?
Considering GDP and Population (minus the UK of course):
Would a unified European military rival the United States?
What possibility is there that they create an oceangoing fleet to project their power?
How long do you think it'll be until it gets bogged down in yet another Russian winter?
Given that the European Union has roughly the same GDP and population as the US, and unlike China they have a similar level of scientific output, they could raise an army on par with the US if they wanted to.
They never will, because it costs money, and because Europeans can't have real militaries without acting like chimpanzees.
>>30460733
I would imagine they are posturing against UK for noping out.
>Rival US
Hehehe thanks for the giggle.
>>30460773
Pretty sure the EU had a higher GDP than America, although idk if that's still the case with Brexit.
I would say the 5th.
They seem to be the most accomplished as far as battle tested goes with Vietnam and Afghanistan.

I've often heard that the ones in 1st and 7th are shit for some reason. 10th and 5th are always mentioned in high regard.
>Every gun should be a Glock
>My gun is just as dependable as an HK or SIG at less than half the price
>Why would you want that ancient steel machine when you can get Glock perfection for a fraction of the price?
Your weapon of choice is the Toyota Corolla of guns. Quit being little shits because some of us would rather drive a BMW M3 or a classic muscle car.

What would happen if I shot a Glock 17 with a .357 revolver?
Glock 19 ~ 550
Sig 320 ~ 600

No one denies that Glock is Dependable
No one denies that Glock looks like shit
Seals and the Feds are switching to Glock due to its reliability and price

What /k/ drinking tonight? This is my third Vesper.
>in b4 007 fag
>one parts gin three parts vodka one part lillet
>one side of Sig Sauer P229 Elite w/ Viridian lazer/light
Not shaken, stirred in a glass of ice, to prevent chipping of the ice which deludes it excessively. Stir it gently in a glass of ice then strain, no garnish. This technique produces a drink with near perfect purity.
Sig Sauer and my addiction to a clean S/DA trigger are here to accompany us tonight fellow anons.
Any other anons have a lazer/light on their rail or do they prefer the naked and lonely rail?

Drinking a white wine, though I actually have everything I'd need to make a Vesper. I might make one later.

Can someone explain to me just what the fuck is going on in Crimea?
Are the Ukraine and Russia officially at war or what?
So far, all I understand is that Russia claimed Crimea was rightful Russian clay and that the Ukraine couldn't join the EU. The Ukraine told Putin to go fuck himself, so he sent in unmarked and unidentified soldiers (which is illegal as fuck, isn't it?) to start capturing Ukrainian military assets in the region.
So is Crimea part of Russia now? Or is it it's only little country ruled by pro-Russia separatists, like Texas was before it was annexed?
What the fuck is going on? What is Putin's end game? Why the fuck hasn't NATO and the US done anything?
>>30458720
>Can someone explain to me just what the fuck is going on in Crimea?
Russian majority left over after one of the Soviet leaders said this was rightful Ukrainian clay. Now it is rightful Russian clay that is officially Ukrainian clay, which has no control over.
>So is Crimea part of Russia now? Or is it it's only little country ruled by pro-Russia separatists, like Texas was before it was annexed?
Officially no. Practically yes. Ukrainian is in disarray because they're government sucks balls and Kiev is probably as far as it can be from it's "rightful" land.
>What the fuck is going on? What is Putin's end game? Why the fuck hasn't NATO and the US done anything?
Crimea is essentially Russia's now. Putin plans on having it that way. NATO and the US don't wanna get involved because we don't need a war/cold war.
Personally Crimea is rightfully Russia's. Historically Russian majority. Historically Russian port. Russia has fought several wars over it. Russia is superior to Ukraine in almost every aspect (including stability.)
>>30459011
I see. So, for once, Russia isn't the asshole in this situation?
Why the fuck did the Ukraine get to take Crimea when the Soviet Union fell apart anyways? I mean who got to decide the borders of all that shit when it fell apart? If it was divided along the boundaries of the individual SSRs before the breakup, why was the Ukrainian SSR ever given control over a historically Russian province?
>>30459057
it was a calculated move on putin's part, to drive a wedge between NATO leaders who wanted to expand the missile shield west, and economic leaders who don't want trouble.
for once it seems not to be a dick move beyond that, sure there economy is getting anally reemed from sanctions and low gas prices.
was it worth it for russia? only time will tell
