I live in Brazil, my country some time ago suffered what can happen to you, your government wants to disarm you. Do not leave the state to disarm the population. This only increased crime in his country, as happened (and happens) in my country !!! My country has a global reputation for its high crime, we are afraid to go out on the street, and never killed both with firearms in my country and after disarmament. Guns do not kill people, people kill people, guns serve for our defense, let the government disarm you !!!
Brazil gun laws now:
>Must be older than 25 to purchase a firearm
>You must apply for a liscense to purchase firearms. (BR $1000 = $300 USD), every 3 years you must re-apply and pay the fee again.
>You can only purchase firearms the government approves for sale to civilians (think long guns and pistols with magazines less than 10 rounds. No extra parts, no full retard stuff.)
>You cannot carry a firearm out of your residence unless you have a permit (which is controlled by one big office in the government, typically the only people who can carry firearms are police officers, security guards, VIPs, politicians, and military police officers of high rank (don't think junior enlisted, think high ranking NCO/commissioned officer ranks).
In 2004, Decreto n.º 5.123, de 1º de julho de 2004 ( Executive Order # 5.123) was passed, and the department of justice has been using the order to deny all new applications for permits. At this point only 17% of the Brazilian populace is legally armed. There are approximately 17 million firearms in private ownership, with 9 million being unregistered. 80% of firearms manufactured in Brazil are exported.
Even though the police and military wear uniforms, it is always safer to assume that anyone handling a firearm outside of a private range, the frontier, or there home is a criminal.

CBC (who owns Taurus and Magtec brands) paid some politicians to ban imports. Basically their guns now get shittier and more expensive every day.

Didn't see a Bug Out Vehicle thread in catalog, so I decided to start one and ask for advice.

Toyota Hilux or Land Rover Defender. I can attest to both being useful and good innawoods in a military situation. The Defender especially has a lot of space and can transport a lot of people or gear. Had one as my personal vehicle during excercises inna FDF.

I'm not sure you can get all of those things you want without some tradeoffs. For example, a good 4x4 drive is going to lower your MPG, especially if you opt for some off-road tires. Secondly, you're buying used, and since you can't get older Land Cruisers or Nissan Patrols, you have to settle for the next best thing. I'd go for a Hilux or a 4Runner with decent mileage and healthy engine. There's a plethora of aftermarket parts you can install, and they're reliable. I'd stay away from Defenders.

Any gun owners from Germany here? I live in Nothern Germany ([spoiler] Bremen[/spoiler])and thought about getting into firearms a long time ago. But it all seems like way too much of a hassle. Anyways there are two things I'm asking myself:
Is it true that the police can visit me any time, without notice, to see if my weapons are safely stored?
Is it true that, if I apply for a gun permit after being one year in the Schützenverein, the authority can just say "lol no" and that's that? My state is kinda famous for being degenerate after all.

The police can visit you, but as far as I know this doesnt happen often and sometimes they let you know beforehand or are satisfied with pictures.
I dont think so, you have the right to own guns if you have a need for them, thats why you have to spend a year shooting. Unless you have committed any crimes of course.

I don't make threads a lot but I need to know something. Which shows or movies have scenes that make you cringe or rage because they depict gun owners extremely negatively?
Hard mode: No anti-gun documentaries like every single micro-second of Bowling for Columbine.
Mainly for me, it's the gun shop scene in Borat. While it's not targeting gun owners directly it's basically Cohen saying (through the scene) "I'm using this scene to make gun-owning Americans look like stupid racist fucks"

Let's keep the /k/ thread going. Does the DP-12 appear in any games?
My buddy has this DP-12 shotgun. This thing is a monster. I'm no advocate for gun control, but there is no reason a civilian needs this thing. 16 rounds of 12GA ready to go at any time in a compact double barrel frame. Nobody needs that, but God damn is it fun to shoot. It does a good job of absorbing recoil; given its Bullpup design, everything from the hand grip back is essentially recoil springs, ending in a nice rubber butt plate. 12GA magnum rounds will still hit you hard, but anything less feels pretty good to shoot. Target loads feel like shooting a .22lr.
We actually got booted off the trap range at our gun club for shooting this thing there. Apparently being up there with 16 rounds ready to fly in just a few seconds is frowned upon.

For some reason the stock on the scar ruins it for me, also I dont think the gun looks pretty, its just a bit to tall imo, it looks bigger than it needs to be, I like an ar-15. Idk about the 300blk part unless you are going to be putting a silencer on it, but do as you please
