You know the drill /k/ post your kits. Tell tales of your kits. What is your favorite tactical undergarment? Froot ov da loom for that surplus feeling quality
Trekking socks are a godsend for me desu. Avoid team Soldier/team army shit like the plague. The velcro and "flame retardant" material this shirt was made out of is pure shit.
Getting a battle poncho is mice if you don't actually fight in it but Lust stand around lots. Patagonia hats and wide sunglasses are also nice. Pants wise I enjoy hiking breifs, the ones with the holed fabric that's soft and baggy as fuck, or small compression shorts. If you wear a battle belt or a belt that chafes, I usually wear a rabbit pelt in between it. Also NEVER forget a PT belt.
I've worn all of this kit innawoods on separate occasions, and the poncho, a shit blanket I bought at a D-9 (a grocery store terminally stuck in the 80s backwoods), and cut a nice hole for my neck. Best thing I own.
Is TAG (Tactical Assault Gear) a good brand?

I am thinking of joining the army but I am afraid I might fail the medical on the grounds that I take anti depressants (and yes it is a disqualifying factor). However I honestly believe that it does not hinder my ability to serve in the army. The reason I take them is because of a difficult period I had 3 years ago, since then my situation has improved alot.
Is it ok basically to lie on the form and say that I take no medication ?
If you still need that medication you will probably kill yourself in boot camp. I'm not trying to insult you, it's just a reality. I have extensive experience with people who are mentally ill (which you are), and fact of the matter is, you are dependent on psychoactive drugs to maintain your mental stabilty, and having that medication deprived from you and being thrown into an intentionally stressful environment for a long period of time will likely result in you killing yourself and/or others.

The whole reason I wanted to join was because I thought it would help with my depression. All the fucking adverts says "improve yourself" etc. Well how I am meant to if every fucking thing says no you are too weak a person fuck off. The position I was applying for was intel (since I have a degree relevant to it, and I just wasted alot of fucking money for nothing)

Well, then talk to your doctor and see if he/she thinks it's a good time for you to get off the meds. Never stop taking meds without consulting your doctor. You should absolutely not join if you are dependent on any substance.
Hey, /k/. I have recently have been playing both of the Hotline Miami games recently; I was wondering if you fellas think it's a good thing that Jacket is noguns [spoiler] Not talking about the Payday 2 dlc [spoiler/]

How long are deployments aboard Coast Guard Cutters?
Anyone ever been in the Coast Guard? Stories?
So despite not liking Taurus very much, I picked up a PT 738 brand new for $140. It's actually not bad and quite an upgrade from my Kel-Tec P3AT. Not bad on recoil, and hopefully I can get a magazine extension for practice later, as well as I think I might paint the sights white because they can be a bit hard to see. I ran a full box of Fiocchi through it today with no issues to break it in.

Ive got a PT111.
Super reliable. The trigger is kind of fucked up. I also caught myself on the slide first time I fired it, but thats my bad for holding it like a retard.
Fudds just hate on modern Taurus products for the same reason they down hipoint. Its hard to beat the price for a comparable firearm by another manufacturer and say they arent getting hosed on the price.
>>31837975
Their quality control can be bad, and not all their pistols are that great. However the PT 738 does come with a lifetime warranty, also came with a NRA 1 year membership lol. The trigger is super nice, far better than the Kel Tec.

/k/'s thoughts on the AMD 63/65? from what I could find it looks like a decent, cheap alternative to a century AK. or should I just buy a cheap AR (Ruger 556 or M&P 15)
Cheap AR is a better option, but the AMD is still a solid, simple choice.
>>31837215
depending on which one you get the barrel length makes them unpleasant to shoot and the furniture is variously hot and or uncomfortable. otherwise well made aks.
folding stock sucks, other than that decent gun

http://www.upi.com/Business_News/Security-Industry/2016/10/28/Cobham-to-develop-V-22-aerial-refueling-kit/8511477664462/
>WASHINGTON, Oct. 28 (UPI) -- Cobham has been awarded a contract by the Bell-Boeing Joint Project Office to develop an aerial refueling system for the U.S. Marine Corps' Osprey aircraft, Cobham announced this week.
>The deal, for an undisclosed amount, involves developing a palletized aerial refueling system that will allow the V-22 to refuel other aircraft using Cobham's modified FR300 Hose Drum Unit, the company said in a statement.
>The roll-on/roll-off kit will allow Marines to refuel F-35B Lightning II and F/A-18 Hornet jets.
>Design of the V-22 Aerial Refueling System, also known as VARS, will be done at Cobham's Iowa facility, with delivery slated to begin in 2018 after completion of the system's testing and analysis.
So there's an option for a tanker if the UK ever gets the Osprey.
I've got some nice drone footage, I'll try re-uploading it but chances are that Youtube will delete it again because copyright issues.
