>"I dont need religion to help form morals, I'm an atheist and I dont run around killing people"
He says as he lives in a country whose morals were shaped by Christianity
>>1899099
>My morals are objective and derived from the Bible, which is the word of God, the only objective source of morality.
He says while adhering to a moral system that was strongly influenced by Platonism and Stoicism.
>>1899099
If YHVH stepped into the room I would arrest him and put him on trial for crimes against Humanity.
>>1899099
Everyone knows that Morals were created by Atheist, but, whatever.
In the last time I always feel like all these newer generations are just... a waste. People keep on discussing the most ridiculous things, keep getting dumber and dumber. Great inventiones are made but only for our own entertainment and not to improve ourselfs or our enviroment. (except Lord Musk ofc)
The idea of having everyone fighting in a huge world war like two generations have before us makes me feel like thats the only way we can... I dont know... wake up and realize what the fuck we have been doing, realize what we are and what we are capable of. I dont know if anyone is kinda getting my point.
Anyway. Am I right about this big war thing ? Are there any other things than fighting in a war to rescue humanity or is this the only way ?
I kinda also want a war as it makes people focus on important things, but at the same time i'm too much of a coward to participate if there was a war so eh.
>>1898549
Like every other time an autistic teenage walt feels they need a war to validate themselves or society, there's plenty of action in the world right now. You can back up your words with action and participate firsthand in one of the great ideological and physical conflicts of our time.
>>1898571
WOW thanks anon now my will to take action is back lets see what we can do...

If Catholicism's true, why wasn't it able to easily defeat the Protestant movement, both in debate-halls and on battlefields?
>>1899176
Because Christianity is a religion of peace and if you kill your enemies they win.
And if you win over them in debates, they still win.
>>1899158
I'm not sure what you're trying to say but here's this for you.
>Five of the seven members of the first Soviet politburo were Jewish
Vladimir Lenin - jew
Leon Trotsky (Lev Davidovich Bronstein) - jew
Grigory Zinoviev - jew
Lev Kamenev - jew
Joseph Stalin - sandnigger
Grigori Sokolnikov - jew
Andrei Bubnov - Russian
What an amazing coincidence keep in mind that jews were less than 2% of the population of the Russian Empire
no self respecting synagogue would accept Lenin as a Jew
I dunno about the rest though
but if it was a real tru jewish conspiracyâ„¢ why wasn't the Politburo 100% jewish?
Really makes you think
>>1897185
Lenin's maternal grandfather was jewish. That means that Lenin's mother would be recignised as a jew according to the modern state of Israel.
>why wasn't the Politburo 100% jewish?
Somebody had to attend to the business of the state on Saturdays I guess.
>>1897193
Jewish heritage is matrilineal. For Lenin to be considered a full Jew his maternal grandmother would have had to be jewish.
Why do modern people dress like shit?
uh huh.
now go find a picture of what the average factory or agricultural worker of that era wore and you will answer your own question.

Little more representational.
Now, versus yoga pants, literal shart in the Mart and tank tops, exposed midriffs, niggers sagging, etc

Why are there not significantly more humans around if we were around for 200,000 years?
dude there are a lot of humans
>>1896071
Population growth is only exponential with unlimited resources. I would explain why but it requires math.
>>1896079
And there should be a lot more if the theory that we've been around for 200,00 years is true
I finished reading Robin Hobbs first assassin trilogy. In it, there are a lot of female soldiers. Some of them even captains. It's obviously fantasy but inspired by history. Female soldiers in the Middle Ages (or any period really) would've been a no go right? Cause I mentioned this to friend and the inevitable rape that would happen and he got triggered.
By this logic women like Boudica would have never have come to be the leaders of armies.
rape would have been more likely, but women would have been more equipped to defend themselves from said rape.
Women in battle was generally a very rare occurence. Modern historians tend to overemphasise the little fighting women did to appease to modern sensibilities.

>Modern historians tend to overemphasise the little fighting women did to appease to modern sensibilities.
Do they though?
Is it fair to say ISIS came about because of failed Arab Nationalism/Baath-ism?
My understanding is many of ISIS fighters and officers were in Saddam's republican guard, which was basically the Baathist paramilitary wing.
With the over throw of Saddam Hussein, Baathists changed their allegiance from pan-Arabism to Pan Isam by remaking the Islamic State (Ottoman Empire).
This is not a /pol/ thread, plz just Baathist history, not discussing the current conflict in Syria, just the origin of it.
from what i remember Saddam hated wahhabism and fundamentalist islam.
also isis genuinely dislike the ottoman empire, they believe it to not be a "true" caliphate. They literally are going back to the seventh century
>>1888056
>Ottomans
You mean Rashidun? ISIS isn't trying to reform kebab empire, they're more interested in classic Islamic conquest

Careful, if you make fun of Lord Albrecht's private police force he'll cancel your police coverage. Either that or move you onto a low-tier coverage plan and jack up your rates.

Hey /his/ I was wondering how pike and shot battles (such as those in the 30 years war, italian wars and the English Civil War) were fought. The tactics that were used and how wars were conducted. Such as did battles become more frequent with generals not worrying about training men to use fire arms. How were regiments formed in countries without the feudal system and finally what was life like as a soldier in this period?
Over the eight years of its civil war,England suffered proportionately, greater losses than in the First World War.
Here's /tg/'s list of Osprey for Pike and Shot, I'm not sure if it might be exactly what you want, but you could see if it's in there

When the >H>R>E extended further west into present-day France, did the locals speak Germanic dialects, or was the cultural/language border more-or-less the same as it is today?
Also, would it be accurate to say that prior to the 19th century, the term "Germany" was more akin to a term like "Scandinavia" in that it described a cultural/linguistic region rather than an actual political entity?
Yes. Before the Second Reich, Germany referred to a cultural region. Even Austria would have counted as being part of Germany before the late 19th Century.
>>1898105
As far as I'm aware of, they mostly spoke French/Arpitan in Burgundy; however, it's possible that West Central Germanic dialects extended further into Alsace and Lorraine.

Luke 19:1-10.
>At that time, Jesus came to Jericho and intended to pass through the town.
>Now a man there named Zacchaeus, who was a chief tax collector and also a wealthy man, was seeking to see who Jesus was; but he could not see him because of the crowd, for he was short in stature.
>So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore tree in order to see Jesus, who was about to pass that way.
>When he reached the place, Jesus looked up and said to him, "Zacchaeus, come down quickly, for today I must stay at your house."
>And he came down quickly and received him with joy.
>When they all saw this, they began to grumble, saying, "He has gone to stay at the house of a sinner."
>But Zacchaeus stood there and said to the Lord, "Behold, half of my possessions, Lord, I shall give to the poor, and if I have extorted anything from anyone I shall repay it four times over."
>And Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house because this man too is a descendant of Abraham.
>For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save what was lost."
The way picture it going down would be like Jesus with a crowd of disciples, talking about stuff, having jokes, teaching some knowledge, and then Jesus looks up at this dude in a tree and is like "Whoa cool man, I wanna hang out with that guy" so He calls Zachaeus out of the tree and Zachaeus is like "sweet" and then Jesus goes "bro I'm staying over your house tonight" and Zachaeus is all happy.
Then the disciples are like "aww I wish He stayed over my house"
Then Jesus goes "hey you know Abraham right?" and Zachaeus goes "of course I haven't seen him in a grip" and then they instantly became friends.
>>1898010

It's more like : "why is he hanging with that ambalance chasin pogue?"
Zaccheus: Jesus, ur so cool I ain't gonna chase ambalances any more, I gonna give half of my monies to charity and refund all the people I conned.
Jesus: Good job. You're back in the club, this is what I am all about: rescuing people from their sin.
Imagine being so knee-weak for Jesus that the moment you see him, you decide to give away half your fortunes.
It the yea whenever, we've advanced past the boundaries of our solar system and met alien life. What flag should we have to represent ourselves with?
>>1897996
>ourselves
Fuck off globalist shit the flag will be the flag of the country that gets us there.
japanese flag
>>1898011
I'm only asking because i believe it would simplify the process of diplomacy. But yeah it should be like an arm patch, home nation above the earth flag
>This is a boy. He has different genitals to normal people.
What did she mean by this, /his/?
I don't get if she's trying to say he's missing his penis or if she considers only women to be normal people
>>1897950
Something about a woman being a boy, or whatever people believe nowadays.
Did Hillary say that? Does she realize that manhood goes beyond genitals?
