Am I missing something here? At least if you pick something from the 20th century pick Anarcho-punks. Those guys legitimately caused riots and got the KGB involved. Also for the most part there was not Black Metal scene in Norway at least not when they still made quality albums.

What views? Pic related or what? Read the book that Necro put out recently. This was fairly normal alternative scene that emerged everywhere in Western culture since the 1930s or so. And than it attracted 5-6 very fucked up people. It literally is nothing special.

Had hitler died in WW1 there would still be fascist countries today.

Germany picks a different fascist poster boy that isn't syphilitic and more compliant with competent military officers and the EU is replaced by a fascist super power that could hold sway over Russia. Assuming Japan was still on Germany's side, that means that a whole half of the world is opposed to the US. That's a war that the U.S. loses. It wouldn't be a unified world government (that's impossible), but German/fascist hegemony controls the geopolitical climate.


Depending on how you view the U.S. now, not much.
