Helo Yo estoy Rey Carlos II. I am give u 1 wish you want to change anyting in histoiry

I wish Charles II of Spain wasn't a complete mongoloid and made Spain stronger so that it wouldn't loose all of its colonies and become the rather irrelevant country it is today.

My wish is that the Americas by the 1480's have the same technology and diseases resistances that Europe had in 1492.
This should stop a shithole like Spain from ever exporting it's nigger culture to the rest of the world. Won't stop Brit, French, and German superiority, but I don't care about that.

Not really.
why isn't this part of the US
especially the toronto area
Because its full of Canadians.
That's a weird delimitation you're making there.
Quebec is the only part of Canada with any sort of identity or cultural distinctiveness. The rest might as well get annexed by the US.
because the US asked nicely in 1812 if they wanted to be part of America and the people living there politely declined
All Western culture is just copypasta of Eastern culture.
All of it.

Is it true that the Vikings saw suicide as honorable?
>>2336401
Who gives a heck?
I have seen no evidence for that
they did believe in creating a reputation for themselves
like it is said in Hávamál: "Cattle die, kin die, I shall myself die one day, but I know one thing that never dies, the judgement over each death"
this made vikings often fearless in battles, sort of like how Gallic people were against Romans
which would be suicidal, but it inspired the others
>>2336401
I never heard of that. It seems like something they'd regard as cowardly though.

Will anyone be remembered for as long as man exists? Or, will even the Greek philosophers one day be forgotten?
If there is a way to be remembered by millions forever, how could I do it?
Why do you care?
What makes you better than literally anyone else?
>>2336365
Don't wanna be forgotten. Want to leave an impact on the world that lasts and be remembered for it. Could do something big like run for president, but will Donald Trump and Abraham Lincoln one day be forgotten? Is it a fact of life EVERYONE must accept?
>>2336360
Al you need to do to get remembered is kill a load of people or travel around with a bunch of dudes doing magic tricks and claiming your dad lives in the sky.
Scientology.Whats the deal?
The first Sea Organization members formulated a one-billion-year pledge to symbolize their eternal commitment to the religion and it is still signed by all members today. It is a symbolic document which, similar to vows of dedication in other faiths and orders, serves to signify an individual’s eternal commitment to the goals, purposes and principles of the Scientology religion.

How successful are government founded working programs in the long run? Like building roads, bridges and dams?
Are they really helpfull in solving an economical crisis or are they just a short time improvement of the jobless rate to keep the people happy?
>>2336089
>Are they really helpful in solving an economical crisis or are they just a short time improvement of the jobless rate to keep the people happy?
The answer is yes to both.
They were mostly intended as short-term solutions to keep people employed until the economy improved. And keeping people employed means that those people (and their families) are still spending and paying taxes, etc, which is good for the economy as well.
>>2336089
Both.
But the question is also what you get them working on.
You can have them build a tower to heaven that eventually just falls down - which is shit, but can still help get you out of a rut. Easy enough. But you can also have them build or improve roads, airports, power-plants, etc, all of which will yield returns across their lifetime to improve the economy going forward.

Give me one example of a public works project that was truthfully useless and not "useless". The idea that public spending just results in people digging holes for no reason is a dumb anti Keynesian meme.

My professor says China had a much bigger population, bigger cities, and a way more productive economy than Europe. Is this accurate?
Also England only industrialized by accident because they had coal on their island
>>2336035
>Also England only industrialized by accident
They had the right context for it to happen. Most historical events where "accidents" using this logic.

Were the samurai really just bullies who oppressed peasants? Even Musashi?
>>2335963
Well, if your an aristocratic warrior serving a major feudal lord, a lot of your time is going to be spent keeping the peasants under control.
Japan has a lot of farmer rebellions, and without men to put them down the entire social order would have fallen apart.
In fairness though they fought wars against however they were called to fight
>>2335972
>Japan has a lot of farmer rebellions, and without men to put them down the entire social order would have fallen apart.
This is similar to my belief that the Catholic Church wasn't in the wrong for persecuting heretics during the Middle Ages. The cynics would say it's about control, but society could have easily fell into anarchy if everyone and their mother was preaching different religious doctrine.
>>2335985
Pluralism doesn't necessarily lead into anarchy.
