So how is Opera doing these days? Does it have any features to differentiate it from just being a Chrome clone that does little different from it?

Bumporama.
Install Arch with latest kernel + latest drivers, a full DE along side around 200 packages that I use
> Takes 45 mins and thats WITH having to refer to the arch wiki for a few steps because I who the fuck memorizes installation commands
Install Windows fucking XP with nothing else in a VM to play muh eroge
>Takes over 2 hours to be even remotely usable
Microshit funded Pajeets really need to fuck off. Windows is trash for anything that isn't games and nowadays a QEMU VM with passthrough will give you 99% of native performance
There is not a SINGLE reason to use Windows on actual hardware, much less to use it as your main OS.
>>55066655
>2 hours
What? It's a 20 minute installation for xp. What piece of shit did you try installing it on?
>>55066655
>45 minutes to install an OS with less functionality than MS-DOS
Windows 10 installs in about 5 minutes.
>>55066725
>coreutils + SSH suite is less functionality than MS-DOS
Pajeet pls

If memory serves, I think someone had started a project to create an OS based on Navi. I think it stopped though sometime in 2004.

Ok, so... due to stupid reasons, I submerged my Galaxy S5 under water at a hot spring for a good 30 minutes.
The phone stopped working. Then I dried it out. I put it under a hair dryer and sun for a while.
It started back up, but these features completely stopped working:
>Sound not playing, not on speaker or regular
>Bluetooth antenna not broadcasting or connecting (can't use bluetooth headset anymore)
>Video not playing with the stock media player. VLC will still play the video (with no sound).
>I can't make proper calls. The calls don't carry sound, and the call won't even go through all the way.
>Cannot record video. But I can take photos.
Everything else is working fine. Gyro-meter. Map. Camera for still pictures.
I did a full reset of the phone, and it still has the same symptoms.
What could be causing only those systems to be affected?
Is it a shorted chip?
The S5 is water resistant. So if you try to dry it out, it takes very long time. I decided to leave the door off and just leave it in the sun for a while, but it still didn't fix the issues.
I thought because I left it in a hot spring; the sulfur may have dried on some connectors, so I left the phone in some distilled water for a while to dilute the sulfur and dried it out again. But the features still haven't started working.
Any help?
I'm debating whether I should take the phone apart to clean the circuits. But for that, you need to take the screen off with a heat gun.
Pull the battery.
Looks like you still have liquid inside it

You already fucked up by drying it out in the sun and with a fucking hair dryer, not to mention you also fucked up by turning it on. You should've left that shit in a bunch of rice for at least 48 hours.

Why are schools seriously adopting iPads for computer science programs? Why does apple keep pushing this crap?
all the schools in my district switched over to chromebooks. They are cheaper and easier to maintain. Only apple is pushing this ipad meme and nobody is buying it.
Apple has a long, loooooong history of wining and dining school boards into buying all apple infrastructure for their IT departments.
That fucking picture.

What's the point of optane anyway? When controllers and interfaces aren't up to the speed of teh NAND yet?

so its 10x slower than dram?
Why is it so difficult to transfer files from your phone to your computer using wifi? I know there's apps and everything, but none of them are truly that good and are quite slow. It seems like the basic concept shouldn't be difficult since the devices are on the same network. Can someone explain why it's not?

Logitech G5. I have one that's a decade old and have had no issues from it. It has been one of my most reliable PC related purchases and I will buy another when this one goes. If you look, it has 3 settings for sensitivity, a decent scroll wheel, and a back button on the side that is programmable. The Alienware TactX mouse is another option as its a G400(?) and has an even nicer click or free scroll wheel setting. No cool adjustable weights though...
