My parents want windows 10, but at the same time don't want to be spied on. While I know this seems like an impossible task, an anon posted a list of IP addresses the other day which Windows 10 keeps phoning home to.
what can I do to to keep the spying to a minimum, or at least minimize the damage?

Friend of mine is looking to get a used iPhone 5s. His reasoning for it is "WELP I've never had an iPhone so might just try lol". Needless to say, he's kind of stupid. Last phone he had was some Xperia that he trampled and now its barely working after being dropped/cracked/etc.
So I need some decent reasons, beyond HURR IS APPLE EVUL, why someone shouldn't get a 5S(or any general iPhone faults that apply to 5S as well). Already told him about no changeable battery, no mem card, shit connectivity. Anything else or should I just let retards be tards?

Considering the size the memory chips are probably the highest capacity ones available and thus the most expensive.
Dropped my iphone 5 from about 2 feet off the ground straight onto its screen and now its gone all black and purple and broken as fuck. I think I need a new phone and am thinking something like the note 3. Any one have suggestions? Is the note 3 good?

I always like technology since I was a kid. I used to know my shit for my age but now I don't really know much.
How do I learn more about hardware (processors mobo etc..) and software? For example, I want to be able to figure out the best pc build in terms of power or value with best compatibility.
I did build my own pc recently but that's as simple as following a yt video and choosing parts with pcpartpicker

This is my first PC build. I downgraded the GPU I'll be getting because I wound up needing it sooner than later, and I wanted a build that was good around it so I can pop in a new card and be fine. I currently plan on getting a 960 as a stand-in until the 1100-series comes out. Notice any problems? Also, any recommendations regarding thermal paste and antistatic wristband brands?
