Which is better for a CS course: OS X or Linux? I personally like Linux a lot, but I would theoretically be able to virtualize all of the major operating systems on a Mac. Also Thinkpads are much much better hardware.
>>55477448
Either will work, as long as you know what you're doing on GNU/Linux it doesn't matter.
If you care about upgradability go for a non-retina Macbook Pro.

It's a cs course
You could literally use windows and be fine, so it really doesn't matter which you pick

Occasionally group members will refuse to swear to The Cause and voice their incorrect world-views. This kind of heresy is only tolerated for now.

Sounds like a bias of the author. He probably didn't get his way in some discussion somewhere and now he's butthurt.

By not paying for botnet W10
By getting a different AiO
Is this a joke?
I got this emailed to me by a job recruiter after sending them my resume.
On my resume I state I can code in like 3 different languages, and they want me to show that I can type in MS Word or understand common math functions in Excel?
Are they fucking with me? I feel insulted for even being asked to take a test on this shit.
then ignore it, faget

Welcome to HR
I learned HTML, CSS, Javascript, and CSS.
Time to start java.
Here's my Hello world script that I copy pasted from my IDE:
public class Hello
{
public static void main(String[] args)
{
System.out.println("Hello, world! Java");
}
}
>>55477258
I said CSS twice, The second time I meant to say C++
>>55477258
Here's my hello world in Forth:
." Hello, World!" cr bye
public class Hello
{
public static void main(String[] args)
{
System.out.println("Hello, niggers");
}
}
This is my Hello Nigger statement

Where were you when technology was used to gather training data from a huge botnet for a neat neural network?
GF isn't that smart. Maybe if it was a Google or Microsoft game.
Sad in Canada wishing I could play.
This game is also trying to get young black men killed.

Ok guys, I was finally sold.
Going to use Linux for the first time ever.
Google forced me to it and soon enough so will Microsoft apparently.

So, for a old computer running a 2GB RAM, shitty ass intel video card and 2Ghz Duo Core, what would be the best iOS and Distro to use it?
I dotn care if will look beautiful, but I would like some recomedation that are stable, with stable programs to install and fast to run.
Thanks in advance.
>stable
debian
>light
Arch Linux

Gentoo
Pick one. Gentoo can be pretty hard to install for newfags.

What about the Ubuntu?
I know there is a meme on /g/ about it, but what is the real problem ( if any) aside of not having to use the terminal?

What makes Gentoo faster than Arch?
Megaupload 2.0 to Launch With Original Megaupload User Database
>Following a few hints earlier this week, it is now fully confirmed. Kim Dotcom will be launching a brand new file-sharing site with a familiar name.
>Megaupload 2.0 is pencilled in for a January 2017 launch, an event that will coincide with the 2012 closure of the original Megaupload and the massive police raid on its operators.
>Details are few at this stage, but here’s what we know. Megaupload 2.0 will have 100gb of free storage. It will allow users to sync all of their devices and there will be no data transfer limits. On-the-fly encryption will be baked-in.
>How Dotcom managed to preserve a copy of this data isn’t clear, but he says that each user account held within will get a foot up.
>“Most Megaupload accounts will be reinstated with Premium privileges on the new Megaupload,” Dotcom announced this morning.
>But hosting files isn’t the only thing on Dotcom’s mind. His censorship-resistant MegaNet project is still in development and although it’s not going to be ready until 2018 at the earliest, Dotcom says that Megaupload 2.0 will be a crucial component of that network.
>“Megaupload 2.0 will be the launch platform for MegaNet. Let’s make sure that we have critical mass first. #100MillionUsers,” he said this morning.
>Dotcom clearly has much work to do and even flat-out will struggle to meet his January deadline. Still, he doesn’t intend to do it alone.
>“To former Megaupload and current Mega employees. We welcome you with open arms. Mega App developers, we have a great deal for you. Ping me,” he wrote a few hours ago.
>So how will former Megaupload users know if they can use their old credentials to access the new site?
“Expect an email,” Dotcom concludes.
