That's not shocking. Dell think's everyone is tech illeterate and they probably are too. I hate to think what their testing software is riddled with.

They may always do that when they replace the mainboard, even if it's the same hard drive maybe it's easier not to have to worry about incompatibilities and license restrictions so they just reinstall it

Why does this take up so much RAM? It's taking up ~200MB from start-up, more than any other extension I have. The 2nd largest I have running is uBlock Origin at ~50MB.

Something must be wrong. Open up an bug report at the github repo.

Or fall for the sixteen gig ram idea which spreads from person to person.

I need new phone.
My "HTC1 M9" was water damaged,, but I didn't like it much.

The enormous speakers were the reason I bought it, but it was disappointingly quiet,, only very barely louder than my older "Samsung galaxy s3" & it's tiny back panel speaker...

I went to the sprint store 2day & nothing appealed to me..

I'm pretty sick of android,, granted, I'm not the most sophisticated when it comes to tweaking the os. Currently my gs3 runs like garbage. Is it because I'm using a launcher? Or just because it's old?

Am I the only one who has problems with third party launchers? I'm currently using apex &.. I dunno it just feels more aesthetic than convenient sometimes.

Should I be using "roms"? (I don't know what roms are btw hah). Should I find some sort of android os home-brew? Do i need to build an OS personally for myself?

Did Linux phone ever come out? Was it good?

Sorry for 21 questions, but I got alotta questions..

inb4 ios recommendations. Don't make me laff plz I am here for serious business only.

TLDR; Review your current phone & try not to be biased based on your purchase & don't be overly attached to your current beliefs KEK

Pic related, my two most recent phones.

Is it a good idea to buy these things, write the full capacity and then just leave them on a shelf for the rest of their life unless they are needed or will i be playing with fire in recommending them to a business to use as a backup solution

Spindle grease dries out supposedly.
>>
>Business backup solution
If they've got the internet speed for it then just use cloud backup.

If you rely on them to backup manually then guaranteed they will fuck it up
>>
>>56220719
Australia so the internet is not up to par. They are currently just using lose external hard drives but that will all be consolidated into a NAS soon. The intention was just to figure out what stuff they need backups of the most and dump it all on the drive in one go and leave it unless the NAS dies and they need that data.

Idealy i would have said get 2 NAS and just mirror them but that gets expensive quick.

which one should I get, the regular nitro or the OC version??
>>
>>56220497
OC is only $10 more, but the overclock doesn't seem that significant.

I was planning to just stick with the regular version but I accidentally bought the OC version. Oh well, too late now.

The difference is that you can buy the non-OC and OC it your self. The card is identical. Just google the best OC settings.

If the answer is yes, then no, go buy something that you don't need a pickup truck to haul back instead.

considering decent fans will run you 15 to 30 a pop its not worth it.

Hey /g/ what are the most important tools that you use for reverse engineering programs? What specific features are important to you?

I'm working on making a C# program using dnlib for general reverse engineering and MSIL modification. I'm looking for useful and interesting input on what features I should try and implement.
