What's the easiest to code for? I figure at this rate it's android and possible iOS. am I wrong? Or is this because the market is so easy to get into? Is it easier to market an app for 1.99 or is it easier to do microtransactions on it? What is the most effective?
Surprisingly android for full price, iOS for micro and free.

It's so easy to find cracked APKs
Xamarin/.NET
Is there any reason to use anything different?

nope, unless you care about album art and other shit
but since you want a program that lets you listen to music and not a JPG viewer, fuck everything that is not winamp. It's just needless bloat.
It's non-free software and should be burned at the stake for that.
2 hdd failures in a matter of 3 days
1. qBittorrent downloading to drive
2. Hard disk non responsive
3. Quit qBittorrent
4. Left process running for 30 mins
5. Tried to but could not stop
6. Restarted
7. Seagate makes beeping sound
> Opened up Seagate to see what's up, looks fine on the inside, spindle in place
> Repeated 1-4 for second drive 2 days later
> 2 uninitialised hard drives
> Lost 4TB of actual data
Seagate Barracuda 3TB + WD Caviar Green

Was it worth it?

it's like having the cd
it's nice if you need to encode to different formats, since you won't be doing lossy to lossy
but there's really no point otherwise, you won't hear any difference, there's no magic involved
>>56422033
* you won't hear a difference unless you're getting like 128kbps mp3 or some youtube to mp3 shit

Not using an iphone. heh
/g/ I need advice. I desperately need money so I am selling pic related. I have the exact same model. 32gb, WiFi/LTE, Nexus 9. I would say 8-9/10 condition. The back coating or whatever you call it is a little chipped on the edges but other than that is great. How much can I get for it on Craigslist?
About three-fiddy.

I'm genuinely interested.
"his open source software is making bill gates sweat"
>what did the mean by this?
It means Bill jerks his floppy drive microdick to pictures of him.

He meant Halloween Documents.

>OSS is long-term credible ... FUD tactics can not be used to combat it.
>OSS projects have been able to gain a foothold in many server applications because of the wide utility of highly commoditized, simple protocols. By extending these protocols and developing new protocols, we can deny OSS projects entry into the market.
> The ability of the OSS process to collect and harness the collective IQ of thousands of individuals across the Internet is simply amazing. More importantly, OSS evangelization scales with the size of the Internet much faster than our own evangelization efforts appear to scale.
Bill Gates sweats in rage because sound still doesn't work in Linux.
Chrome or firefox? :^)
Can't get used to Chrome...
Is there even a difference anymore?
I still use firefox, but I just dont see how it matters at this point
I can't browse this site with Mozilla and Chan x? Installed. It is too buggy so I have to use chrome. There isn't a huge difference to me though
Why the fuck does this button need to exist? Wouldn't it be smarter to split it into two buttons; one being the Home button and the other being the end button?
It would fuck up the entire layout, you tard
People switch it and left CTRL

Anyone on /g/ used BBS back in the old days? What was it like?
I only used newsgroups very briefly as a kid but my time was already that of php forums and IRC.
It was 99% cp.

Door games were great, also 14 year old nerds only way to get laid back in 1994. It was before this great change where nerds can get laid. Dial up sucked though
>>56422160
I doubt it since you couldn't transfer images. It was probably 20% discussion about computers like the apple II or c64, 20% nerds arguing about dungeons and dragons and vidya and the rest politics and knowledge sharing.
Why do ads know where I live?
Not from /g/...
You let microsoft give them your location. It can be turned off.

Because you keep sending your IP everywhere.
are the big dogs (google, facebook, youtube, twitter etc) here to stay?
it feels kind of eerie thinking people's facebook profiles could potentially be like 50 years old
hopefully not
twitter has no money and no plan to make money
google seems to big to fall into obscurity, but then so did IBM and microsoft
facebook has infinite money, so probably will live forever
Yes, damnit
