2 hdd failures in a matter of 3 days

1. qBittorrent downloading to drive
2. Hard disk non responsive
3. Quit qBittorrent
4. Left process running for 30 mins
5. Tried to but could not stop
6. Restarted
7. Seagate makes beeping sound

> Opened up Seagate to see what's up, looks fine on the inside, spindle in place

> Repeated 1-4 for second drive 2 days later
> 2 uninitialised hard drives
> Lost 4TB of actual data

Seagate Barracuda 3TB + WD Caviar Green

Ideas?

i've had terrible luck with hdd's over 2TB
i have four 6 year old 2TB hdds in my machine with two 3TB's and a 4TB drive that are pretty new but fucked
