Hello /g/, I'm looking for operating systems in which this code[1] would render all RAM inaccessible, is there even such a crappy OS available?
So far I've tried, Linux, Windows 10 and Windows XP. I'm pretty QNX and MacOS(and all BSDs) handle this situation just fine.
While we're on the subject, could a driver allocate memory in such a way that it would be inaccessible?
[1]: http://pastebin.com/4ENeLJr4
Why would anyone use an OS where that would be possible?
>>56831940
try temple os. even the author said it'd be easy to crash if you were trying to.
Take out all but one stick of RAM. Boot your OS of choice. Open up Chrome, Firefox, Folding@home, BitTorrent clients, etc., and you'll run out of memory soon enough.
What's the best Linux distro for starters who are sick of Windows 10? Pic unrelated
Ubuntu probably idk
Antergos.
muh rolling release

What about mint though? Or Fedora?
what tech memes have you fallen for?
I fell for the 16GB of RAM meme and the SSD meme

Private trackers, but that was before I came to /g/.

Nvidia drivers everyone. Bug has been around for an eternity and still no fix. Try justifying this shit, shills. This is the last time I fell for this meme.

Is there any reason to user tscale=oversample if my monitor is already at an integer multiple of the video?
>>56826025
Probably not!
Why isn't ewa_lanczossharp used for chroma? If one performs better for normal scaling, then why wouldn't it perform better for chroma?

Nah, it's what the two posters in the last thread said, there's top performing headphones at many different price ranges so it will be a rollercoaster curve.

Laser cutting should be less expensive than CNCing it would, at least.

This was originally about some anon's request for recommendations at a reasonable price, of which they hoped buckling springs were a good option for gaming, Not saying the builder can't charge what they do but that is solidly out of the price range and not in a familiar layout.

Pic related, 1070 next to my mx 440. I didn't realize just how many I had until I compiled this list. I may have missed a few but those are all the ones I know are somewhere in my house for now.

GG Debcucks. Installing Fedora right now. NEVER EVER
>>56834110
Whats fedora?
You already had linux-image set to remove before running the command
Can happen if you botched a kernel upgrade i suppose / didn't know how to install a specific version and removed all when trying to remove a single older package

OnePlus 3 BTFO!!! You can't name a better deal than this.
>>56833071
Why not Lenovo zuk z2 instead?
Much cheaper, also 1080p so much better performance too.
It's $250 iirc.
>>56833071
Debated between this and OP3.
Got the OP3 instead, here's why:
>No plastic, unlike the speaker grills on ZTE.
>I don't need 2K display, 1080p is fine.
>Better build quality, looks better.
>Front fingerprint sensor.
>OxygenOS shits over Axon's OS.
>Custom ROM support.
>Better community, unlocked bootloader.
>Illuminated front keys.
I do wish it had Axon's DAC & front facing speakres though.
>>56833071
OP3 has better firmware and as far as I'm concerned it's all that counts. Mi5s will be a better value anyway.
Androids lowering the bar yet again...
"Android Nougat Crash Rate is Higher Than iOS 10’s"
"To put things into perspective, Android 7.0 Nougat has an overall app crash rate of 6.4% compared to iOS 10’s 4.1%."
"But things don’t end there, Android Nougat has a failure rate of 2.5 times more compared to iOS 10 when it comes to fetching data from the cloud."
