how has it come to this? rise of the smartphones? social networks? shitty education? millenials just being millenials?
when was the last time you needed to put your own device together, install the software from command line, and figure out how to do stuff without having a 2 click solution?
Exactly. you don't.
Not unless you are really into computers and facebook and windows/mac OS on your dell xps/macbook pro doesn't give you all you need.
>>56904293
> how has it come to this?
Easy. New generations take it for granted and don't want to know how it works.
I hope you can change your water tap and a motor oil in your car.
>>56904293
>rise of the smartphones? social networks? shitty education? millenials just being millenials?
All of these, mostly the shitty education part.
It's been slowly happening over the last 2-3 months. First it was the memory problems. Even if I had 3-4 tabs open only, it could go to 700k-800k memory-wise. As soon as I opened up Twitch, Youtube, or something with Flash, it shoots up past 1.5-2 million and destroys my viewing experience.
Now it takes 10-15 seconds to open any Youtube video for some strange fucking reason. Some webms aren't even opening anymore and are "corrupted" despite working just fine on Chrome.
I've hesitated to move over to Chrome because I'm too lazy to manage my bookmarks and I'm not sure if it has the same add-ons I use to manage bullshit.
I've been using this shit for like 10 years now and don't want to install the Chrome botnet. I've been loyal to Mozilla. What do, bro?

i dont give a fuck if google knows that i fap to traps i get a good service in return.its still better than paying for it which would be only avaliable for the rich because of how expensive their services would be.go back to your tiling vm and leafpad.

Killed how exactly?
http://moralmachine.mit.edu/
That's hard.
Post your results and let us see what /g/ thinks will be the ideal auto-driving car.
>>56924625
>what should the self-driving car do?
hit the fucking brakes? You should be driving in a way that's appropriate to the conditions where you're never going fast enough to not have enough time to stop. If it comes down to it the car should opt to take the crash with the barrier because cars have crumple zones, air bags and seatbelts, you have to be going really fucking fast to kill the people inside the vehicle compared to pedestrians.
Stupid fucking quiz.
>>56924625
Both at the same time ofcourse.
Or, emergency shutdown.
>>56924625
Right because the AI was too stupid to read the sign that warned about obstacles and it's the owner's fault for not driving on manual.
so ripping off a fucking iPhone is actually paying off?
Is the camera so important for you or you just want a decent phone and don't give a fuck about the camera being good at speed shots while falling from an airplane at night while doing black-op missions in winter?
And yet it still has no landscape keyboard.
Same as every other dull ass slab released in the past 4 years with minor spec deviation. Same boring shit as always.
So innovative...

The 128GB versions of the PixelXL are already at a 6-7 week ship time.
So someone is buying them.
Holy shit guys! why didnt you tell me about the cinnamon desktop until now? all I see is gnome shell, ubuntu, kde and xfce desktops posted here everytime but never cinnamon.
Cinnamon is like gnome 2 on steroids.
It might need some tweaking here and there but it works amazingly well.
I am quite impressed and happy with it.
Customization is impressive, you can download themes and applets directly from the settings menu.
Panel applets are pretty cool.
It still need some improvement but I like where this project is going.
Have a go a try it, you wont look back,
>>56923180
I always shilled Cinnamon, you just didn't listen.
Yeah it is what I like
You know it.
Yahoo under ex-Googler Marissa Mayer's orders collaborated with the US gov't and built spying software for them, to be used on Yahoo's own customers and users.

Yet another "women in tech!" success, after the likes of Elizabeth Holmes.
You cannot make this shit up.
She gave the go-ahead without the relevant executives even being aware of it - they thought they were being hacked.
Hey. The NSA needs to know this shit.
Not everybody uses Windows.

Also fuck Marissa, literally, I want to to fuck her no matter what she does or how much she laughs.
holy shit /g/, I just signed up for a new google account in incognito mode (because I didn't want it to connect with my main account), and it appeared in this list, even after closing all incognito tabs, meaning that the browser actually still saves your shit.
try it for yourself and see
>>56919008
I feel like you fucked the process up somehow and it wouldn't be so obvious.
Also your english seems a little off so i can only assume you're some kind of brown and don't know how to do anything right.

>Uses a browser made by Google
>Assumes it doesn't send everything you type into it to Google
>>56919008
Chrome tells Google everything and there's nothing you can do about that except not use Chrome. Signing into a Google account also tells Google everything, by the way, so you should be getting rid of those if you're concerned about Google seeing anything you're doing.

Alright guys, why is the new owner such a fucking kike?
m00t created the 4Chan pass not for monetization purposes, but so that he could give something back to the community for those that wanted to donate money.
It used to be that it lasted forever, too, to the best of my knowledge.
Next thing you'll know, he'll start selling user data for jew goldz and letting political parties pay him for the right to shill on the website, just like he did with 2ch.
can I be spoonfed a link for a pro version of titanium backup apk?
I want the freeze feature but I dont have any money.
Kicking it off with a great stupid question:
How do I check if I'm botnetted on win7?
