That's like getting an i7 in this day and age. It was not necessary, and very expensive.

Are powerline adapters a meme?

>>58839828

definitely not. Shit works like cash. I wish the ethernet cables were a little longer but feels no different than a real wired connection.
>>
Currently using. Occasional (I notice about once a day probably) drops of 15-20 seconds with no connection but otherwise solid throughput and kind of cool.

I don't use the secure mode but beware that if you don't, people can hack ur data by jacking into your power lines

I don't trust the encryption they use. All proprietary.

Never the dust make it stronger
>>
Depends where you live and what your house is like. Also where your computer is located in your house. For me I dust it once every two months.
>>
>>58839673

Just dusting is not enough, that's a meme. All you do is blow dust everywhere and it settles more diffusely so it doesn't look as dusty as it was before. Once in a while you will simply have to vacuum and be very careful about how you do it.

Reminder that a Zen core is currently more advanced than a Skylake core.

>less transistors
>equal performance
>less power usage
>smaller

This is all on a inferior GloFo process compared to Intel, as evidenced by the SRAM and pitch sizes.
If AMD had Intel's fabs the core would probably be another 10% smaller and more efficient at least.

tl;dr Intel's fabs are keeping Intel from meltdown

This will change when intel releases its new x86 architecture in 2021.
