All of the other text-based browser open websites in a instant. Links, Elinks, w3m, etc. But they look like shit. Lynx looks best but takes a few second to open any website. Even when I've enabled all cookies.

It stucks at "Using https://www.somewebsite.com"

I have an old Dish-TV dish lying around, should I bother building a wifi satellite out of it or just buy something like https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003CFATOW/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2L77EE7U53NWQ ?

The only build I can find of it online is :

https://www.engadget.com/2005/11/15/how-to-build-a-wifi-biquad-dish-antenna/

Just trying to grab wifi from long distance.

I wish I had one of those antennas but UK bro here. Also, as I satellite enthusiast, do you people still use the large cband dishes?
>>
i remember i was going to build a wifi version. but i believe it can only reach about a mile, never built it tho.
>>
>>58839296
yeah they had a lot of luck in the middle of nowhere but I imagine distance isn't as good in city/surburbs. Its why I'm wondering if its even worth it to bother doing a build over just buying a pre-made dish for 50 bucks.

Don't fall for AMD's lies.

Instead of constantly waiting for AMD to FINALLY release a good product, you can go out and buy Intel and Nvidia products TODAY that will be anything coming out of AMD.

What I don't get is that the popular conception on /g/ is that Intel = Jews, AMD = /pol/ approved apparently. But apparently the Jews are also forcing diversity on white country, especially Pajeets into silicon valley. AMD is way more diverse than Intel, so shouldn't Intel be the /pol/ approved company? FFS AMD's GPU division is literally run by a Pajeet.

basicly if an apocalypse hits a certain amount of electricity will still be made.
but it would be to low to power anything because everything will still be draining power.
but what if you would shut off a part of a city or most of a city block will the rest get enough to get the lights on again.

it was a scam from the very beginning. as an ower of an original nokia n900 at had to deal with those maemo.org guys often and know they're simply assholes and not once did anything useful for n900 development.

(the few good people on maemo.org aren't part of neo900 scam. sre, and pali)

other than that, there still isn't a independend linux mobile os one could load on it, even if the hardware itself existed.

maemo (os) itself wasn't that bad, because it was more linux than android the n900 was a nice linux handheld but the unfree bits killed it.... and exactly those neo900 did whatever they could do to upset and disrupt any work towards that.

them and in addition the gtk, gnome guys killing GPE and gnome mobile.

Intel took over X.org and fucked with framebuffer and put dri and 3d everywhere disabling the workaround to get a picture without closed drivers.

ubuntu abandoned linux in favor of android (partly) for mobile devices because.... a neo900 guy, developed an android driver shim to make ubuntu work with android hardware api. another death for linux only mobile devices.

oh, and intel also took over openembedded and with that the base of SHR and freesmartphone.org. well... those guys didn't do much regarding n900 anyway. they also fucked around and rather broke the few working bits out of shear insanity. the only good and hardworking guy was in my opionion Gnutoo but at some point he threw it, because he was literally the only guy fixing and improving things there while the others fapped at him getting overworked.

well... still, the linux "community" still didn't get anything done in regards to (GNU) mobile os. because of that, we have those survilance robots in our pokets.

neo900 guys are basically like the rest of the linux landscape. the enemy painted friendly colors. nobody there likes freedom and for pretending to be "open" they put out awfull code to torture the users.

....more later...

Whats /g/'s mic?
mine is this cheap thing but surprisingly not that bad audio quality.
tho one thing buggering me for a while is that everytime i launch something on my computer the mic stops picking up audio for 5min then starts working again...
anyhow a pretty good mic if it would work.
back to why i made this thread: What is /g/'s mic and what do /g/ like and recommend?

I have also used OP's mic and havent had the problem he described. Worked fine in windows and linux ootb. this one does too.

Anyone know what this green connector pictured? I'm missing mine for this amp and I need to know what it is to buy a replacement
10 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>58838459
Its a power header. You don't need a connector, you just strip the wires and then use the screws to clamp them in place.
>>
thats a regular subwoofer output
>>
>>58838604
Okay, thank you for telling me what it is. However, the issue is that I'm missing this connector itself, and I need to buy a replacement (I'm missing the power header)
