Hey /g/, video editor retard here. I'm trying to add 4 videos and then one zooms and and becomes the focus. I got as far as my gif but then on the second video is cut off from the first. I'm using Sony Vegas Pro is this even possible?
so it looks like this, is there anyway to make the bottom layers come up to the top when it focuess like that?
>>60754713
Split the clip when you're starting to zoom it, and put the clip on the top layer. Swap the other one to where it was.
>>60754679
Also I'm using motion tracker should I just use an effect instead?
So why don't you use emacs with evil-mode?

what the fastest thinkpad? im a film director and editor and complete resource hog. i need a laptop with whatever fastest i7, at least 64gb of ram. i prefer 128 or 256 if possible, yes, i can fill up 64gb rather quickly: AE and 2or 3s.vegas instances open while transcoding in background, all is 4k loading 4k footage out RED and ARRi. this is my usual workload. any thinkpads at this level? what can i get? is there anything even? (gpu can be 980 or 1080 is fine, no need quadro) must have a nice screen though, and support for at least 3external monitors. lol what a monster of a laptop i need. battery life i dont care.
preferably with room for 3hdd/ssd too...
Get a high end watercooled desktop and work remotely from your tablet.

>moving from Consumer to Business grade edition
Raise your hand if you were one of the thousands of people who got pic related and actually like it? I got this one when the reviews said it was a good buy and I have to admit it has served me well since then.
While I do like the Archer C7, and used it as the OP image because pretty much everybody bought one since it's the WRT54G of AC routers, I think this will be my last consumer router.
Anybody else currently using a consumer router and want to migrate to using a business grade router when AC gets replaced by a new standard?
>>60754337
>>moving from Consumer to Business grade edition
there is no such thing as business grade. it is just the same shitty consumer grade shit and at most does something retarded like support a few VLANs. the word you are looking for is enterprise class.
>Anybody else currently using a consumer router and want to migrate to using a business grade router when AC gets replaced by a new standard?
Just about anything enterprise class isnt going to have integrated wifi you retard. There are a handful of devices like Cisco 860 or 1901 routers which have it but they're absolutely retarded. If you're going to get enterprise class wireless you need discrete access points and will need a controller appliance as well if you want to use stuff features CleanAir.
>>60754464
True, but there's more integrated stuff as time goes on.
If you need router - buy router; if you need wireless ap - buy wireless ap, buying router with wireless ap is just getting worst of both worlds.
That said unify + rb750 (or more powerful, if you _really_ need it) will do the job just fine.

Is it a good idea to install Windows on a Macbook? I've been borrowing a Macbook and damn the aesthetics are top tier but MacOS is pure shit for my work. Will I get any performance issues if I install windows? Please don't tell me to install gentoo thanks.

There are not even drivers for the new MBP.
But of course you can install it. There just won't be any wifi/ethernet connection.
Your touchpad won't work properly.
Keyboard backlight won't work
Function keys won't work.
But hey... you'll have bluetooth

Do you guys seriously think Terry is some kind of genius for making TempleOS?
http://www.ponyos.org/
I mean, for fuck's sake, some ponyfags made their own kernel, and it has networking, memory protection, and can run actual programs like vim and GCC.
If these pederasts can do something like this, clearly not some genius-level accomplishment.
>>60753622
this is pretty neat actually
Thanks for reminding me about that OS.
>>60753622
*gnu/ponyos
Its impressive but it still doesnt have networking. Plus what does the guy actually gain from making it?
