Are macfags mentally damaged?
linux is a kernel and macOS doesn't use it
macOS is unix, something that even linux isn't
also macOS is free

ESL's need to leave.
Yeah, if you coin miners could stop buying all of the RX cards, that'd be grrreaaaat.
xD
Why are coin miners buying these cards specifically?

Alright /g/, work shot down my idea of a 2by4 and zipties.
I have 8 desks in the middle of a large room that I need to run networking to. The only way is down from the drop ceiling.
Does someone make like a metal post for doing this? Also they need to run power down it too.
Unless it's fiber networking (which I doubt, since it's to desks) DO NOT run AC lines alongside network cable

Lowe's, or Home Depot OP. go for pvc
and this.

why not? pls no bully
Bear with me, this will be a long one. I'll number points so you can better respond.
1. If a database was able to record a high percentage of all data existing in an isolated environment, even for a picoseconds, would the data hold the truth of the future?
2. Based on simple algebra, I rationalize that a Quantum Computer able to make sense of consistently precise data and algebraically calculate the future to a n-th percentile.
3. This can be done one of two ways, making every act exactly the same way (religion) or lie and invade very single aspect of individual privacy (1948).
4. Once the algorithm of the future was reasoned, there is no reason it could not be manipulated given the proper resources.
5. I propose that the Earths Elite are worshiping the Will of a Quantum Computer with perfect Logos. A submitted request would produce a very specific order of highly complicated and compartmentalized instructions.
6. One of the many problems that would arise with this hypothetical Black Box Worship is the complete absence of pathos and ethos, integral parts of the human brain that dictate interaction.
The black box will answer your request the quickest way possible, it doesnt matter if a billion children must be raped and tortured, that is the black boxes will and your request will be as long as you follow the computers absolute will.
7a. YHWH was simply an elite that decided to make a goal, and consider time as a variable in pursuit of goodness. YHWH rerolled the plan nearly infinite times. RNG GODS
7b,He chooses the most honest and good path for humans to succeed their plan. YHWH loves every pawn like he loves the Queen and King.
>conclusion:
the last being to view the plan is in control, no matter what. Many can view the plan at one time but only the one with the most data can see the full picture.
many conglomerates have likely produced their own Black Boxes. Alphabet, Amazon, Netflix. All of them record a very specific part society.
We live in a probabilistic universe, kiddo. You cannot predict anything to ``a n-th percentile''. Also:

how about you fuck off with personal designations that only work in your own head.
lets talk about some shit
>>We live in a probabilistic universe
that we can algebraically interpret given enough data
that is a fact because algebra simply exists and works
>>60763783
interpret =/= predict
If an observable could be in 10^11 states, all of relatively equal probability, then you are going to predict jack shite. Dumb teenager.

This is a general HTTP security thread for anyone willing to discuss, help newbies or learn more about HTTP security in general.
Who among you running your own Web server? Do you secure your traffic with TLS and HTTP security headers? Do you enforce a secure connection using HSTS [1]? Do you ensure that user agents pin your server's public certificate with HPKP [2]? Do you enforce content restrictions with CSP [3]?
The following websites help you check your server's security:
https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/index.html
https://observatory.mozilla.org/
https://securityheaders.io/
Or you can do a basic check yourself using the following tools:
sslscan
sslyze
observatory-cli

Is there anything wrong with opening up my server to the internet and allowing anons to access the ftp server? Would like to start home admining but am afraid of getting btfo by the one hacker who lurks here.
It is simply a freenas setup with the ftp server living in a chroot. Is that secure enough?
>>60762937
Good thread OP
>>60763901
If you run a read-only secure FTP daemon, and keep it up-to-date with the latest security patches, in a chroot jail, you seem pretty safe, indeed.
So, are iPhones finally worth buying?

It's unbelievable how deep apple is fucking themselves in their own ass. Steve Jobs always said that the biggest achievement of iOS was that the users don't have to deal with Filesystems anymore.
Guess what they're introducing as a "revolutionary feature" to the iPad?
>>60762792
Steve Jobs wasn't a God and he wasn't always right.
Not giving access to the filesystem has been the biggest downside of iOS since its beginnings. And yes that includes the horrible design.
This is the only thing making me slightly interested in iOS at the moment.
>>60762891
No, it's stupid. Who needs to manage files outside of an app?

Let's face it: Intel is botnet and I don't like AMD either. x86 (including the 64 bit extension) is a fucked up architecture which stops throttles human progress in technology.
By Intel not giving out licenses, there's only AMD as a competitor (>inb4 VIA) and this sucks.
I use only Linux anyway and all stuff I use has armhf packages in the Debian repositories. So why not just having an ARM box as main desktop PC so I can stop falling for the x86 jew?
Is there any viable ITX / uATX board with an armv8 CPU (Cortex A73 would be nice of course). If it's an all-embedded board like the RPI it should have just a bit more RAM and possibly a SATA port so I can use my SSD.
I am searching since hours but I can't find anything related. I can't be the only one who wants to just get rid of x86....
The most powerful box I was able to find is an Asus Tinker
I just ordered myself a pinebook btw

>>60762568
AMD's botnet is made by ARM
If you think you can escape by going to ARM, you're wrong.
Probably your only actual option is IBM.
Hahah... this thing has a faster refresh rate than 99% of PC monitors! LOL
>They can also dynamically adjust refresh rate based on what you're looking at. Which can save power.
>For a still image they can ratchet it all the way down to 24Hz.
>Refresh Rate also means it works better with Apple Pencil. 20ms latency.
This level of innovation is why Android tablets are doomed.
>>60762341
Interesting.
Can't wait to see it on macbook too
>>60762341
Begone, Apple shill.
>>60762341
Sounds like botnet.
So we're (my friend and I) are putting together a new PC. We have it able to start up, however it stops and progresses into an eternal boot loop. We've done everything on this list with nothing helping: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems
Here are the parts: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Mcchesney/saved/xcrbvK
We aren't retards, but I feel like an idiot. Is there something simple that we're missing?
Bump
Remove everything including the CPU. Boot the motherboard. Follow codes. Then put each component one by one with shut downs.

My condolences.
