It used to carry amazon botnet, after the backlash canonical turned it off by default, but you could just uninstall it since the beginning. Is a pretty ok de, but it's dead as they said they would change to shitty fucking gnome.

As a twenty year old single male I think it's very hard to find a girl who's actually interested in free software. I've had girls jokingly ask to "Netflix and chill" but when I tell her that I don't use Netflix since Netflix requires proprietary software to stream content, they stop talking to me. And worse if they do stay they think I'm weird since I blocked google IP's in my host file and we can't even watch youtube. I can't ever seem to get girls to come over to my place and I can't text them either. Once I get their numbers since I've added customs roms to my phone and refuse to use sms since it's a security concern I require all of my friends to download a free and open source messaging app and I share with them my public gpg key so that we can verify that our conversations are secure. None of my friends are willing to do this. And I can't use sites like tinder since it's not only proprietary software but a major privacy vulnerability. How come it is so hard to find a girl concerned about software freedom? I feel like I'm going to be a virgin forever.

If you want to describe a feeling of comfort and satisfaction, by all means say you are “content,” but using the word as a noun to describe publications and works of authorship adopts an attitude you might rather avoid: it treats them as a commodity whose purpose is to fill a box and make money. In effect, it disparages the works themselves. If you don't agree with that attitude, you can call them “works” or “publications.”
Those who use the term “content” are often the publishers that push for increased copyright power in the name of the authors (“creators,” as they say) of the works. The term “content” reveals their real attitude towards these works and their authors. This was also recognized by Tom Chatfield in the Guardian:
Content itself is beside the point—as the very use of words like content suggests. The moment you start labelling every single piece of writing in the world “content,” you have conceded its interchangeability: its primary purpose as mere grist to the metrical mill.
Please, enlight me about crypto currency mining with regular GPUs guys.
I know its ages since bitcoin mining isn't viable anymore, but there are others that seems promising and its still suitable to mine with common hardware.
I have a GTX 660 Ti 2GB and tried to get into ethereum mining, but apparently this shitty retarded coin needs a minimoum amount of VRAM that is increasing everyday and seems like its not possible to do it with only 2GB anymore.
Is this correct? Is there other currencies that are worth looking into with just a 660 Ti?
Please guys, i'm broke as fuck, I just want a bit of spare money to buy my weekly burguers ;_;
Monero is worth mining with gpu and even with aes cpu. Visit reddit com /r/moneromining for info.

I'm ready to take the linux pill. What distro do I download.
>>60827663
Install a normie-tier distro first. It's gonna show you the ropes and how Linux ~can~ be. You can compile Firefox from source later.
Try Ubuntu with one of the popular Desktop Enviroments variations, Xubuntu, Kubuntu, Ubuntu Gnome.
I heard Mint is also good for starters.
When you start growing a beard and shower at most once a week, you can ascend to muh minimal bloatware-free tiling wm distro.
>>60827663
If you're looking to play games and shit, go ubuntu. Remember to uninstall the amazon bloatware. If you're not gonna game, then look into Debian with minimal install and upgrade it to stretch, you can find tutorials on youtube on how to do that.
If you care about aesthetics then go for vanilla Linux Mint (i.e. with the Cinnamon desktop environment), otherwise, or if you have an older computer, choose Linux Mint + Xfce.

There are already things like iCEO (https://hbr.org/2015/04/heres-how-managers-can-be-replaced-by-software) that not only can replace management but can also collect data on the pajeets itself can hire as freelancing developers. What does this means to everyone jumping on the "muh coding" bandwagon? Is learning to program a huge scam and even that is going to be automated? Where is the limit /g/, are we all going to be NEETs?
Due to a recent lawsuit from Dish network. Kodi apps are being disabled in the repositories. They will not install completely and fail out. So if you run into any problems do not attempt to re install add ons. SO far Genesis, Exodus, Pheonix and 1 Channel are dead. Soon the rest will be gone. Hopefully there is a fix soon.

Quasar master race
So I have this game concept, planned in details, of “real world mass multiplayer survival horror game” ( GPS stuff, smartphone APP), completely revolutionary, there is no doubt that after release it will be a hit comparable to PokemonGo etc. ( = big money will fallow )
I need to assemble a crew, at this stage voice narrators, video editors, and actors, who could demonstrate the gameplay in scripted form, in real world.
I want to show this game to people, relase of game itself in early version, for people to try, makes no sense, because it would allow only to create local game, with few friends, which is killing the true gameplay effect of the game. This game is designed for RANKED servers, with possible thousands of players, IT is completely possible to play it on single player, vs bots, but its still far away from real gameplay.
Game is designed in details, no bugs issues with gameplay features so far.
I just need to find people who could help me to show this game to people, help me with marketing part.
After that we will do kickstarter or so, such people will be paid, and I will focus resources and manpower on game development.
Please help.
I seriously consider to sell out this game concept and all to some big game companies or even to google itself, I don’t want to do that, I want to create something what will be in my team hands only…
Also I would like to recruit only redpilled people if possible : 3 ( as an bonus )
>>60911317
Use that $5 voice actor shit. Or even bigman tyrone. Then put together a power point and put ot on kickstarter.
Once funded ring up a local college and ask for the IT dept. Ask to interview the kids there in the mobile apps course for a potential job, ect, ect.
>>60911317
I'll make the logo

I need real people, who can record the gameplay on city streets as actors..
I could pay them from sukccesful kickstarter, there is lots to show about this game, but I need real people who dont mind showing themself in front of camera :r
Softbank which recently raised $93 Billion dollars to invest in technologies expected to grow, namely, artificial intelligence, is set to buy two robot companies from Alphabet.
http://www.trunews.com/article/softbank-buys-2-leading-robot-companies-from-googles-alphabet
>SoftBank Group Corp (9984.T) said it would buy two firms that build walking robots from Google's parent company, Alphabet Inc (GOOGL.O), adding to the Japanese company's growing artificial intelligence portfolio. SoftBank said it would buy Boston Dynamics and Tokyo-based Schaft, which design and manufacture robots that simulate human movement, but did not disclose the terms of the transactions. Shares of the company rose as much as 7.9 percent after the deal was announced, hitting a 17-year high. "Smart robotics are going to be a key driver of the next stage of the information revolution, and Marc (Raibert) and his team at Boston Dynamics are the clear technology leaders in advanced dynamic robots," SoftBank Group Chairman Masayoshi Son said in a statement on Friday. Raibert is CEO and founder of Boston Dynamics.
>SoftBank has embarked on an aggressive acquisition campaign to boost its research and development capabilities. The group is backing the $93 billion Vision Fund, the world's largest private equity fund that seeks to invest in technologies expected to grow significantly in the near future, such as robotics and artificial intelligence. Son, Japan's richest man, describes the fund as essential for setting up SoftBank for a data "gold rush" which he expects to happen as the global economy becomes increasingly digitized. Boston Dynamics and Schaft could eventually be vested with the Vision Fund, a person familiar with the deal told Reuters Schaft, a University of Tokyo spinoff, develops bipedal robots designed to negotiate uneven terrain.

I dream of a multicultural paradise, if such a thing is possible. It'll be just like Star Trek. Education is the key. We already have the ability, it's just a matter of motivation. Greed and hatred are the two biggest obstacles humanity faces. Only time will tell where things will go.
