I have about 8 years of experience in the IT world, mostly learned through work. I am pretty confident in my abilities, but know that I need some sort of formal education. My boss is offering to pay for certifications, so at this point it's a no-brainer. I enjoy server infrastructure, network security and wireless communications. Had 24 apps sitting in ram, instead of closing them manually. My cpu stayed at 400mhz instead of going into deep sleep. Lost +/- 15% battery for nothing so far.

I have XenServer running on a laptop. There is a Windows Server 2012 R2 installation on it, and... well it's been running for like half a year non stop now, and my roommate never even mentioned it (he has remote access and runs some software on it) so I guess you could say it runs prettt well. Also, you can use the desktop through the XenServer management software.
