Hey guys, so today I was deleting everything on my paypal related to my bank that account got deleted. I called to the bank and they told me that they deleted my bank account due to inactivity for more than 6 months with a $0.00 balance. All my debit cards were seized and the bank account was trashed.

>This bank account was solely for buying online.

I had exactly 6.90 dollars left of PayPal balance. I wanted to take care of this balance to leave it at $0.

I went to eBay and ordered some shit worth exactly $6.90. Little did I know they taxed it so it raised to like $7.30. I confirmed the payment and it stated the usual:

>Instant bank transfer from XXXX-666 Bank Name.

I had only 6.90 and the account DOESN'T EXIST anymore. This is not a credit card, it is a debit card with no overdrafting capabilities.

I was 40 cents short and PayPal and eBay accepted the payment.

After noticing this I was curious on what would happen with a bigger amount.

>I proceeded to spend $3000 dlls.

At this point I was expecting the usual "No funds left... etc." message.

>It worked.jpg

What did I get myself into? Should I cancel the order and tell the seller it was a mistake or something and confess everything to the bank?

Again I double and triple checked my bank dashboard and I have absolutely nothing charged (under the dashboard you get several account statements, on mine there are no accounts).

Buy more things with your infinite money supply, sell them at a higher price.
If anything bad happens, you'll be able to cover the costs.
>>
>>42293250
This.

Also, after a while they find out and will mail you stating you need to add fund in order to keep using paypal. I had this with a 100 euro purchase. Woops.
>>
>>42293250
>>42293266

But can I get in trouble [legally?], I have not signed for another bank account, there are no bank accounts under my name. Is this PayPal's fault, the bank's fault? Where does this money come from?

So the truecrypt developers intended to stay anonymous and I'm assuming that means using TOR for everything related to the project
Somehow it is believed that the NSA or some organisation forced them to shut down, meaning their ID's had to have been compromised for the NSA/organisation to have any leverage against them
Does this logically mean that the NSA/org has cracked TOR or that the devs messed up somewhere?

The case I'm using is a Jonsbo V6. It looks like a speakerbox and fits very well into your living room environment.
The inside is very tiny so I will be packing things quite tight in there.

>The development of TrueCrypt was ended in 5/2014 after Microsoft terminated support of Windows XP. Windows 8/7/Vista and later offer integrated support for encrypted disks and virtual disk images. Such integrated support is also available on other platforms (click here for more information). You should migrate any data encrypted by TrueCrypt to encrypted disks or virtual disk images supported on your platform.

Share with us your little scripts which help you improve your live

an alias is fine too

I'll start with three simple ones:

screenshot script:
#!/bin/sh

#take a fullscreen screenshot
#requires: imagemagic
#optionally: optipng

##########configurable##########
##
DATE=`date +%Y-%m-%d_%H:%M:%S`
PLACE=$HOME/Pictures/scrots
##
################################

SCREENS=`xrandr | grep Screen -c`
#the number of connected Monitors

COUNT=0

mkdir -p $PLACE/jpg

while [ $COUNT -lt $SCREENS ]
do
#take screenshots for every monitor, put em in /tmp
#stitch em together and delete the temporary file
import -window root -display :0.$COUNT -screen /tmp/$COUNT.png
convert +append /tmp/$COUNT.png $PLACE/$DATE.png
rm /tmp/$COUNT.png
let COUNT=$COUNT+1
done

optipng $PLACE/$DATE.png
convert -quality 95 $PLACE/$DATE.png $PLACE/jpg/$DATE.jpg

window shot:
#!/bin/sh

#take a screenshot from the currently active window

#requires imagemagick
#optionally uses optipng and xdotool

##########configurable##########
##
DATE=`date +%Y-%m-%d_%H:%M:%S`
PLACE=$HOME/Pictures/scrots

mkdir -p $PLACE/jpg

import -window "$(xdotool getwindowfocus -f)" $PLACE/$DATE.png
optipng $PLACE/$DATE.png
convert -quality 95 $PLACE/$DATE.png $PLACE/jpg/$DATE.jpg

suspend the computer and lock the screen with a randomly selected picture:
#!/bin/sh

#Where the Lockscreen pictures are
LOCKFOLDER="$HOME/Pictures/Lockscreens"

RNDFILE=`ls $lockfolder | sort -R | tail -1`

i3lock -i $LOCKFOLDER/$RNDFILE
systemctl suspend

Old thread 404'd

Friendly reminder that posting your E-mail address in plaintext will get your E-mail blacklisted from some private trackers.

What.CD staff actively monitors threads exactly like these and any E-mail addresses posted are watched for invites. If you invite a plaintext E-mail you're at great risk for getting your account disabled. Follow the attached guide to avoid getting your account fucked.

Just switched from firefox to dwb

everything that required a billion extentions in firefox works in dwb natively (vertical tabs, noscript, requestpolicy, refcontrol)

fully scriptable with javascript and shell scripts

uses ~200mb memory for 10 tabs when firefox used over 1gb

fully customisable vim-like user-interface and keybindings

Why haven't you switched to the master race yet, only dwb can save you from australias

Which distribution do you use? At least for Debian it's in the repository. You could always compile as well.
