At this age crazy fashion statements are off the table for you (unless you work in a very progressive and/or creative field). Girls are judged by how they look (this is why fashion for women in that age bracket is such a big market), as a man you will be judged by what you do and who you are.

Being bleeding edge fashion is for 20 year old kids that have nothing else to offer so they "create" a personality with clothing. By now you should have an actual personality (unlike women) and you should dress to make a clean, professional and put together impression.
