Why does Movie Deadpool feel so much more heroic than MoS Superman?
>>81923668
He has emotions and motivations outside of mild discomfort and my girlfriend.
>>81923668
because the writers of the film understood the material they where adapting
Yeah, that's me. Now you're probably thinking "This is a Superman movie, but the big blue just turned that terrorist into a fucking kebab and everyone hates him!" Surprise, this is a different kind of Superman story.
Hopes? Fears? Any storylines you want it to get adapted?
This would probably be a better place to do Sinister Six than live-action.
>Phil Lord & Chris Miller
Holy shit yes!
in Lord and Miller, I trust
So most of you (I hope) have heard of the REBOOT of Samurai Jack Coming to Toonami, and if not.
http://www.comingsoon.net/tv/trailers/637821-samurai-jack-returns-2016#/slide/1
Ho do you guys feel about this considering what has happened with the new power puff girls so far? Do you think reboots are ever a good idea? What reboot do you think CN is gonna do next. If guaranteed it will be done correctly, which reboot would you like to see most?
NuPPG has nothing to do with the original creators, instead it's made by a bunch of new blood who has little tangible experience in the industry (which isn't always bad, sometimes new blood works out, but not this time). That's the difference. That's always the difference. You temper your expectations based on the creative team and though not everything he made is Samurai Jack, there's very little that Tartakovsky has made that I don't like.
Assuming, of course, he's legitimately in the lead creative position and is not just an executive producer or something whose name they're putting on the project to legitimize it. Information on the production is still pretty dark.

Why are Aku's eyes smaller and closer together?
His head's narrower as well.
What happened?
>>81923763
the art has evolve, don't expect artist to maintain the same style like 15 years after the original
>the most powerful weapon in the whole MCU
>could probably kill Thor, Loki, Hulk and even Thanos in one shot
>they will probably never use it again
>>81923493
Well the guy who made it was shrunk beyond comprehension, and his entire complex was raided.
Hank believes that shit is too dangerous, and won't let his tech be used as such.
Always felt bad for this guy. He dies and there will never be a trace of him again.
Didn't realize this until now. I guess there would be no honor in using such a weapon, but wow it would really come in handy.
Hank Pym you dumb fuck. Who gives a shit about shrinking when you could just turn your enemies into aborted children?
ITT Comics that cant be adapted
They will adapt portions of anything.
>>81923485
Kingdom Come is honestly one of the tamer stories. It can be adapted with a large enough budget.
Something like >>81923507 literally would not work without the entire history of the main characters and the medium itself.
Is he that neurotic in the comics. Out of books that featured him somewhat prominently, I only read Red Son.
I saw BvS yesterday and he is what bothered me the most by a long shot.
Different interpretations of the character. I kinda liked him a lot in Dawn. It was different and a huge risk. Reminds me of the Mandarin reveal.
He felt like the joker.
>>81923336
I thought he was great in BvS he was literally 4chan incarnate.
Special fuckin' eyes, man. I know I was spoiled on it through bleach and Naruto, but I really wish I could think of some better examples because I know they exist. Vriska being one.
Anybody know any other examples? I like eyes that have absolute vision so to speak (i.e can detect when people go mucking about the timestream/see alternate realities). I even had a character with that ability from 2011 but I guess it'd get called a Sans ripoff if it ever got popular now, oh well.
I remember reading some book series years ago where a mage was fucking around with dark magic and got hourglass-shapde pupils. He could see the passage of time and described viewing his friends as seeing them "dying by inches".

>Cliches
Learn the difference between a cliche and a trope.
>>81923325
My bad, but I don't feel like remaking the thread to change the title, either.
Okay, how about this for a cliche then:
Revealing the big bad/any threat with a closeup shot of their eye opening.
Time travel shenanigans resulting in historical figures teaming up.
I actually agree with Morrison: Magneto is nothing but an overglorified old terrorist fart who deserves to be put down. The following he's received throught the years is frankly as troubling as the Joker's fanbase.
#SaveStorm
>>81923056
I really like his character. Doesn't mean I agree with him.
>>81923056
Well people agree with him because they see it from his point of view. To him humanity is the enemy. If some other race began treating human beings like shit and killing us in droves you wouldn't condemn violent actions against them.
It isn't like one ethnicity or religion against another. It's a species divide as far as homo sapien and homo sapien superior are concerned. And if you want to survive as a species and another species threatens your kind, you destroy them. Morality and ethics don't even come into it.
>The Ultimates are all Adaptoid copies of the Avengers created and controlled by Ultron
>They're beat because "humans are imperfect and unpredictable and we're all a team"
>Ultron now looks like the James Spader version
Why does this show continue to exist
>>81923012
Because
>>81923012
Why even make a thread about this? Every single Marvel cartoon after Spectacular Spider-Man ended, has been tiers below the quality of the Powerpuff Girls reboot. And that says a lot.
>Baron Zemo episode
>Helmut wants to take revenge on Cap for "imprisoning" his father
Who is the most worthless Batman villain? Pic related.
Filmfreak? I don't remember him doing anything except getting his neck snapped by Bane.
>>81922759
film freaks got a cool look to him, if anyone i would say the Penny Plunderer
Probably Matches Malone. Pansy always disappears whenever Batman shows up.
>Simpsons producers announce they're cancelling the show for good
>they ask you to pitch the finale which will be a movie
How will you send off The Simpsons, /co/?
>>81922697
Full frontal Lisa nudity. The whole movie is about Lisa being naked in front of everyone and her extreme distress and embarrassment.
An episode in which Bart finally gets his circumcision.
I'm not kidding when I say feature-length clip show.
They might as well at this point. Rather than try to get any great climax, just milk nostalgia.
Show the entire length of the series and all the classic jokes, end with some real life footage of people saying how much The Simpsons has impacted the world with slightly sad piano music over it.
Close with Simpsons theme.
It wouldn't win any Oscars, but at least it might trick some people into thinking they ended on a high note, but reminding them of funny jokes from over a decade ago.
Then the sweet embrace of death.
Raimundo should have stayed with her. What a fucking FAG!
>>81922654
Sheesh. I don't know what's with cartoons and anime and their fanbases but, girls like that get way more attention IRL than the goody ones like Kimiko or something.
So was the sequel series as horrible as the first episode made it seem? Or did it get better?
>>81922672
...Could be because Wuya actually gave him a good life and didn't see him beneath her? You know, just throwing it out there.
>Movie has the same plot but with one difference
>Replace Superman with Supergirl
>How does Batman deal with her?
>>81922642
Sex.
>>81922642
He'll gonna bed her. No fight.
>>81922642
Instead of almost killing her at the end he takes out his newly developed kryptonite handcuffs and she becomes his sex slave
Balu could have beat Shere Khan with preptime.
>>81922558
His name is Babaloo, you fool.
>"Batman will become focused on a mystery that will change everything he knows about his greatest villain."
>[...] Rebirth writer and Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns said the previous scene where Batman heard Joker's real name from the Mobius Chair (from Justice League #42) will be followed up on, as readers learn the character's real name. "It'll all become clear when we get to that story," Johns said.
>The CCO doubled-down on that statement in this week's catalog, saying "Well, at the end of 'Darkseid War,' there's a secret about the Joker that Batman will uncover that artist Jason Fabok and I will reveal."
Johns better not fuck this up.
Of course he will. He hates Batman.
>>81922436
I honestly don't know how to feel about dc revealing the Joker’s name..
Anyway, does anyone have the print version of DC rebirth preview book?
>>81922710
what is his name. Joseph Kerwalski?
