Why didn't Captain America die at the end of the movie?
Because when it comes to comic characters, death is less meaningful and consequential than locking your keys in your car.
I don't know; why didn't Superman?
Seeing this guy in CW was fucking weird

OP is so touchy

What felt weird was the American accent.
I wonder how many grandmas picked up these DC animated movies for their young grand children? I never knew how adult most of the newer ones became. Ghost of the Phantasm had adult dialogue and serious moments, but never straight up sex like in Assault on Arkham or Nazi tits here. Guess the kiddies can watch "The Batman" instead.
They're rated PG-13 for a reason. They're Nolan PG-13 too in that they're only not R because they're lacking in swears, blood, and nipples.
>>82607012
>Nazi tits here
As long as nipples aren't shown...
>>82607012
Nazi tits are anything but adult, but I get your point. Have the kiddies watch Brave and the Bold instead, though.
> Wow, you know that person who spent a significant portion of their life honing their skill and expanding their creative mind in order to get a job in the industry?
> Surely they must've been on drugs when they created this thing right here
> I assure you this has nothing to do with me being an oblivious lazy-ass millenial who, in order to feel better about themselves, needs to blame their own shortcomings as well as other people's achievements on external, superficial factors, while expecting praise for all of their half-assed efforts at anything
Have fun trying to give me a better impression of /co/
Protip: you can't
/co/ never does that, you projecting retard

This is what you say OP
>"it's so complex! It's not just for kids!"
>watch it
>it really is just a silly kids show with melodrama and shallow lore
Who was right?
u'or mother
Both were right from a certain point of view.
Both and neither.
AAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH
Told you not to pick at it, bruh.
Charles noooooo get out of my head charles

When did Bizarro become less of a villain and more of a tragic Frankenstein monster Character?
>>82606647
With Byrne basically. He was a bizarre creature in a world he was never meant for in his very first appearance, but then came Bizarro World and he was basically a gag character for the next twenty-five years. Byrne was the one who made a failed genetic clone of Superman, Byrne was the one who had Lois cry for him when he died. Any appearances he's made since then has been more on the broadly comedic side, but it oscillates between the two. DCAU went with the Byrne version. The last big thing he was in that comics wise I can recall was basically Empreror Joker.
>>82606647
I prefer him as comic relief.
>>82606842
I prefer the whole wannabee family man type with aspects of the tragic frankenstien.
>DC rightly realizes after years being stuck with Lobdell on Titans Tim's been getting the short end of the stick as far as Robin's go
>made one of the headliners for an event, Future's End, which ends up sucking
>Given his own solo spinning out of it, which conceptually gets shit for being a Beyond book without Terry
>it's also written by Jurgens and mostly consists of him getting his ass beat while other people stop the villains
>after more than two years of build up the groundwork is already being laid for Terry to come back
>In the main continuity he finally escapes Lobdell and Titans only to end up with Tynion
Why can't Tim catch a break lately?
>>82606496
They already have three Robins.
Dick is the most popular and has the luck of being the first Robin. Also his gen of Titans is the most popular and well known so he gets used there.
Jason at least has his dying and coming back, and will probably be in the Batman solo movie, so they keep pushing him even if Lobdell keeps writing him.
Damian is the current Robin and Bruce's bio son.
Tim has nothing that the others don't have.
>>82608787
>Tim has nothing that the others don't have.
except intelligence
which has no place in modern dc

i forgot him being an actual detective
you know
like the writers do
Okay, I'm trying to remember if this thing really happened or if I'm crazy. I remember from watching Cartoon Network as a kid, like 10~15 years ago, there was this weird event where weird videos would play at night during some commercial breaks, showing that Fred Flintstone had been kidnapped. They were shot like realistic kidnapping videos, all grainy and weird static-y cuts, showing a cartoon Fred Flintstone tied to a chair. I can kinda remember they were playing it up like "Fred's missing!" "Where's Fred Flintstone?!" But I can't remember anything beyond that. I tried googling for answers, but I can't even find a mention of this anywhere.
So, did I hallucinate this shit, or did this really happen on TV?
>>82606147
Whatever that was, it sounds reallygrand
>>82606164
It was really weird. I didn't really understand what was happening at the time. I just thought it was really cool. But it took too long for any update or anything, so I lost interest and I don't know what happened.
>>82606147
I remember this, too. It's real.
What's your favourite headcanon, /co/? I like to think Bogo has a daughter.
I can't think of any desu
I don't have a favorite but I always saw Judy saluting Nick when he graduates as a reference to Nick wanting to be a ranger. I believe this because no one saluted Judy during her graduation. That's my headcanon at least
daily reminder that we already passed BvS on domestic
and still has more screen available than BvS

What is the lazier plot device used by writers, Speedforce or Pym Particles?
It's always Speedforce.
Speedforce by far. Speedforce legitimately makes me angry and put me off DC comics.
>>82605910
this
it's always speedforce.
pym particles generally obey their own limits. can only grow to X height, conservation of mass, strength, etc. it's comic SCIENCE that you can be fine with
but speedforce is pure bullshit
Why do people like this character again?
>came out of nowhere to replace a longtime Avengers member
>character has no depth besides "she needs to appeal to millennials with internet language and quirkiness"
>Muslim for the sake if being Muslim, totally no agenda there
>pushed to the moon despite her character's former popularity being less than important for years
>series lauded as groundbreaking despite being the most generic young-adult style imaginable
She represents everything wrong with capeshit today. Why support her?
Waifubait.
>>82605837
Because its a fairly light-hearted book with a fun cast?
>>82605837
She's fun. Some people enjoy things without trying to poke holes in everything. Also race change doesn't bother me if it's a new person, since comics are full of white people anyway.
Whenever I hear a 22+ year old cartoons nowadays are worst than the ones from the 90s - 2005, I can't help but get annoyed. Its like you allow your nostalgia to make you not accept there are great shows out. If shows like Cow and Chicken, Ren and Stimpy and Ed Edd and Eddy came out today, people would SHIT on them like they do Uncle Grandpa and Clarence.
I hated all those sorts of shows as a kid. I watched them because they were on, but they were always shit compared to a good action show.
Context is an important part of a show.
If Xavier Renegade Angel was a webseries from 2014 people wouldn't like it as much. This is normal and it is nothing to be outraged about.
>>82605826
it's all subjective
there are good and both shows from any decade
also most anons who do that are usually cherrypicking and/or shitposting
ITT: when you dropped the MCU
For me it was when Disney said Favreau couldn't adapt Demon In A Bottle because it was too dark for their comedy universe.
