LEGENDS OF TOMORROW is adding three new heroes to its roster for season 3.
>MYSTERY HERO (Patrick J. Adams) I "A hero with a mysterious past and an equally mysterious agenda, who launches a new mission for the Legends."
Rumored to be Green Lantern Alan Scott. He'll appear in the season finale.
>MALE HERO (20's - 30's) I "A amn who grew up in the shadow of his grandfather, a hero from World War II, and has used a Han Solo-like facade to conceal his insecurity — until, that is, the development of superpowers enables him to love up to his family legacy."
Rumored to be Nathan Heywood / Citizen Steel.
>FEMALE HERO (20's - 30's) I "A member of an elite paramilitary team living in the 1940's. An African-American, she is scrutinized in her time for both her gender and race and thus has worked twice as hard to be a perfect soldier. That said, she blames herself for — and aims to avenge — the death of a team member for whom she had repressed feelings."
Rumored to be Jill Carlyle / Crimson Avenger.
Plus, showrunner Phil Klemmer said that Season 2 will feature mini-arcs with a variety of villains rather than an overarching storyline with a central antagonist, such as Vandal Savage.
Rumor has it the season finale featuresthe Time Masters being dismantled as they are in cahoots with Savage, and Rip Hunter deciding to fulfill their original mission of preserving the timestream, with the Legends joining him as they've embraced their true call as heroes.
Saturn Girl, Matter-Eater Lad, Starro

>Starro as an angry black woman
Fund it?
>>82609871
i still don't understand why they covered those tits, canary tits were the best thing about arrow.
Who would win in a fist fight?
In a straight fight, Juan Punch no contest. In a protracted war Zemo.
>>82609857
>Implying anyone can beat Juan punch man
>>82609857
Juan Punch easily.
Finished off the current run of WetMoon and ... who the fuck is this comic aimed at?
The art seems to swing from really fucking nice to "the fuck are backgrounds?" levels of lazy.
All the characters seem like fucking twats, and the only one I want to know about is the tiny one with one arm missing and fucked up kidney whose in like 2 issues.
The hell is the story meant to be? It seems to be trying slice of life, then there's a giant fucking pig running about, a superhero / masked vigilante, one of them has a ghost as a room mate.
How the fuck did everyone get so fucking fat. Issue one people are fairly normal ish sized. By the current issue one girl has ballooned to gigantic size. I didn't know it was the same fucking character.
Why the fuck does this get such a good write up?
>>82609780
>who the fuck is this comic aimed at?
Girls who are pissed off at their dad
>One armed girl
Fern? She's bae, but yes, Wet Moon is boring as shit and she's the only really interesting part about it and that's only 'cus she's mysterious. If we saw more of her that may disappear, just because of how lacklustre Campbell's story telling is.
>>82609780
Ross' work has sucked post-Alopex.
Is this series the best Spider-Man (as a franchise) has been outside of comics?
>>82609614
Why yes, The Spectacular Spider Man is surpure like Danny Fanthom and Kim Possible.
I've only seen bits and pieces of the new x XD one but from what I've seen, yes. Also it had a pretty kick ass opening theme.
>>82609614
I prefer adult Peter.
I'm going to my local shop to pick up comics on Wednesday. I haven't bought comics since Civil War was getting started and New Universe was getting that unsuccessful reboot.
If there's three series I should be looking into, mainstream or independent, what would you recommend, /co/? I'm cool with capes or indies or comedies or gritty Warren Ellis joints or what have you.
>>82609507
Why didn't you go on Saturday? You missed Free Comic Book Day.
>>82609525
Yeah, I'm kicking myself for not knowing it was that day. And in the process of self-flagellation I decided to spend money on some of them funny books.

Dudes and Ladies from the Internet! I can't form my own opinions and tastes, please help!
People always complain about Superman being too OP but what about this fucker
>>82609325
he is so OP we don't even mention him in powerlevel threads m8
everybody knows that he can potentially defeat any character ever created, even demonbane
He has been stabbed with a dagger and almost died before. He isn't that powerful unless specific situations arise.
I hate the attosecond one because it's literally just Flash saying something. It's not a real feat. It's like when a villain claims to be the most powerful being in the universe.
So, just as a question alone. What is it with Cartoon Network overusing this animation style? Was it intentionally envisioned by the creators or are they just lazy and decide to only stick with one animation studio or style?
1) That's art, not animation
2) This is CN's Hartman/klasky csupo era, they have a few creators making several series.
>>82609411
Sorry, I meant to say art style. And I guess animation counts too.

Noodle elbows has been a thing for a long time
>fast food roast beef
>poop line and throw up line
>"you know where we're talking about"
where were they talking about?
Arbys, most likely.
>>82608998
Once again Seth MacFarlane makes 'jokes' that are actually just his shitty opinions.
>>82609120
To be fair, Arby's is pretty bad in general
14 years. Damn. Good bye.

>One of the gags was shown twice
Let this tell you how far into the dirt this franchise was dragged and how creatively bankrupt it's becoming.
>>82608819
>Be Brazilian
>Only two of our producers are well succeed enough to get work outside of the country
>One ruined robocop (at least he is doing Narcos)
>The other one is milking this franchise like a whore
>The Shangri Lama
Ok you got me with that one
I want to start reading Spider-Man, and to me spider-man is all about good banter. Which Spidey-arc has the best dialog and funny moments? Also where can I buy non-current issues of comic books in physical form..
Yes I know I accidentally posted this in a thread
The very first run of Amazing Spider-Man with Ditko and Stan Lee, no joke.
>>82608836
I can get it in an omnibus right?
You want marvel adventures spiderman. Purely light hearted with Pete in full assclown mode for the majority of it.
hey guys now that the 3 ovas and a dofus movie is out I will ask again....what is your favorite moment from the wakfu/dofus universe?
my favorite moment is still that first fight between tagru and nox
>>82608742
Yugu vs Adamai: Civil War
Btw I haven't seen the movie. Are there subtitles for it?
>>82608742
Man, that's a lot to choose from.
Nox losing his mind and challenging Xelor still gives me shivers after all these years, so I guess I'd have to pick that. I could make a whole listing with different types of scenes, though. There have been many great moments.

No rips, no subs.
http://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2016/05/heres-how-this-weeks-live-simpsons-episode-will-go-down
>The episode’s title, “Simprovised,” points to the segment that will close it. As with many jokes on the show, the gimmick will be a little meta: according to Fox’s episode summary, Homer decides to try his hand at improv comedy to boost his confidence after flubbing a speech in front of his co-workers. To make it happen, Homer’s voice actor, Dan Castellaneta, will have to come up with answers on the fly, as motion capture takes his actions and brings them to our TV screens. For those wondering, as Entertainment Weekly did, why the segment is only three minutes long, Jean explained that although motion-capture technology has made progress, it still only works with one or two characters. “The backgrounds don’t change and the character can’t really interact with somebody in the background,” he said, adding later that “there is less of a variety of motion, and after [a while], it might start to look a little repetitive.”
>And for skeptics who will want proof that this is being done live, Jean assured Entertainment Weekly that the episode will “do the equivalent of holding up today’s newspaper, where we talk about something that’s going on right then.”
>Jean told Entertainment Weekly that so far there have been no problems, it doesn’t sound like he’d be too upset if a brief problem occurred: “I always feel—and this is the whole S.N.L. philosophy: if there’s a little glitch, that’s fun, too,” he said. “That’s the excitement of live television. And to my knowledge, no animated show has done this before . . . I think this is going to be really incredible—or incredibly terrible.”
>So, what’s the best way to get on the show? There will be a 1-888 number released ahead of time. Definitely call as early as possible, as Jean told Entertainment Weekly that he thinks the lines will get very busy very fast. If you prefer a method that’s a little more “2016,” Homer will also answer one tweet. And if you’re O.K. with hearing from a writer “Homer” and not Homer in the voice of Castellaneta himself, Jean added that a couple of writers will also be answering questions on Facebook and Twitter.
>And as for what to ask? First of all, make sure you’re asking questions of Homer himself, as Jean told Entertainment Weekly, “A question like, ‘What actor does what?,’ that won’t get by.” He added later, “Just ask an interesting question about Homer, and his life and if it’s funny, we’ll try to get it in. We’re not looking for people to ask trivia questions about Season 23.”
>Sounds simple enough, right? It’s hard to decide which prospect is more exciting—seeing how well this will actually work, or finding out what kinds of off-the-wall questions fans could have accumulated over the show’s more than 26 years on-air.
sounds like a terrible strain on the animators' wrists.
>>82608413
I want someone to call in as bone xylophone man and they let that get past. If I were dan I would lose it.
Batman vs Moon Knight. Who wins?
>>82608136
The winner will of course be Batman.
In an actual fight though I think Moon Knight could probably win if he digs out all his actual magic equipment and such.
The artist, because they get to do a whole black vs white motif durring the confrontation that would look awesome. I am picturing either something in the snow or something involving white and black or grey paint.

How do you think an animated Heathcliff TV series would be redesigned to fit a more contemporary style?
