>Bruce Wayne and Matches Malone are both side characters actively playing both ends of the law (Wayne is one of Roman Sionis's business rivals, and Malone is one of Scarface's guys) - it's revealed in the third act that they're really just the same person in a Sherlock Holmes style getup, with some brief explanation for the 'why' through Wayne's back story (since it's common knowledge to everyone, no need to go into detail), but the BIG 'reveal' at the end is a secondary twist that they're also The Batman - both reveals running parallel to the villains and their own immensely fucked up identity hangups

That's all. Nothing too flashy, no "summer blockbuster" shit, just a solid, atmospheric capeshit that focuses more on characters than spectacle and controversy.

DC Animated versions of Haunted Knight, Long Halloween, and Dark Victory, Hush, Contagion/Cataclysm/No Man's Land.

Give me 45 minutes of a Barbara Gordon plot before adapting the comics in all of these and I'm good.

The costume and the makeups are great though.
This movie was too little for a character this big.
Lesson to be learn = you can't put the Joker on a secondary role.

I certainly preferred it to The Dark Knight's """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""existential/philosophical"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" shite Joker (and shame on you for lumping glorious creepfiesta N52 Joker in with him).

Overall I thought Leto was okay, nothing that special or memorable, which is passable here since he's not exactly main cast (even if most of the trailers seem to think he is).

The Ace Chemicals scene is extended. It's implied the Joker makes her jump off as a joke, but then changes his mind similar to the film.

Joker managed to jump out of the helicopter. The helicopter crashes into a bank building. He laughs knowing that money is burning inside. >'God, I love the smell of burning cash in the morning'.

The story has the same ending, though, with the Joker breaking Harley out.

Kill or Be Killed almost made the top ten it would be great to have another strong selling Image book.

>Harley Quinn 1 was easily this week’s big winner. We had an exclusive cover for the issue so the issue at times was being bought three times by people thanks to the three different covers. Suicide Squad 1 came in second thanks to a certain movie. Also go see the movie. If you listen to the critics you would be seeing the movie Piano instead of any superhero movies. Invincible Iron Man 12 made a surprise sell out thanks to the new Iron Man (woman?) finally meeting Tony which has sparked new interest. Other than Iron Man Marvel is limping along till their next re launch. Deadpool interest and sales have even dropped off sharper than I would have thought. As I have stated before that is part of a re launch. People over all just wait till the re launch to check it out. Why get into something that is ending?

No one on that show gives a fuck, it's an institution. You make it on there its via nepotism at this point and you're there for minimal effort maximum paycheck.

It looks good but I think they're losing a lot of potential in how they're doing the kickstarter compared to say how Ankama did Wakfu's. Granted they just wanted to bring it over to Netflix with an official English translation and English dub for an already finished product but it looks like what LASTMAN is doing is basically holding the unpaid for second season hostage and since the page isn't written entirely in French and English its hard to tell what you'll even be getting. I don't see anywhere that states which level you support to get all episodes digitally or which level gets you all episodes on Blu-ray. It's confusing.

The other thing is their fucking goal isn't really a good goal in this place. It only nets you two episodes. The stretch goals are for getting the rest of the episodes. The only other time I can think of this happening was with The Reward: Tales of Alethrion and they were pretty up front about it and even let backers vote which of the stories they wanted animated as the next episodes. They already proved themselves twice though and it seems to work. I'm going to guess once they're done with what the last kickstarter got them to be able to make they'll be back for another to finish off more episodes. I don't see that working for LASTMAN unless it truly turns out to be kick ass. Tales of Alethrion works a bit better because it's slightly more contained. LASTMAN as far as I can tell is a series and ending on a cliffhanger because of budget might not work well for them if they try another Kickstarter in the future.

Anyway, I'll keep an eye on this one. I certainly like the artists that are making it but I think their campaign needs work.

I really hope they can salvage this the worst case scenario is that they end the story short.
