Hey guys, what if SIMBA was the one who died in the stampede instead of Mufasa?
>>87624588
Then Mufasa would kill Scar, then go home and fuck his wife to make a new son.
>>87624588
obviously mufasa would go all dark, kill scar with a gun and then go on to kill anyone who disturbs the circle of life with the same gun and simba's mom would put her face up with grease paint and murder all the cubs of the land.
Good, Simba is a fag anyway.
Its piss easy to bring him back yet the MCU has a bad habit of 1 and done villains
Not until the BuckyCap movie.

if they fixed that dumb i-robot head, this one would be my favorite
MAN-THING THREAD
I, too, enjoy surrogate Swamp Thing.
I've recently been reading some of Gerber's Man-Thing work through the Howard The Duck omnibus and the trade of Infernal Man-Thing, I've found it to be enjoyable. It seems somewhat ahead of it's time though, can anyone tell me if the rest of the 70s stuff was as good?
>>87624427
Except Man-Thing came first and has totally different powers?
>>87624444
I'm glad somebody else is enjoying Gerber's Man-Thing - it's a really under-appreciated book. I'd say read anything else Gerber wrote with the character - and of course, the rest of his Howard the Duck too.
It really was ahead of its time - sadly, because nowadays most people only know 'Giant Sized Man-Thing" as "that Marvel book that inspired countless internet dick jokes."
Are you kidding me? I'm not gonna lie, I'm OK with where this is going but the dialogue throughout this entire run has been terrible. First of all, the Rebirth was the shittiest attempt at a "year one" by pulling that seasons shit. Then Batman repeats himself in almost every issue. He tells Gotham goodbye 3 times in issue 5, then he says "I know" like 7 times in issue 6, then in issue 9 he repeats himself constantly. Not to mention the abysmal dialogue in the issue 10 preview. Also, Ms Gothams powers make no sense since they fluctuate and with barely any information Bruce just goes with it. Not to mention the 3 jokers still out there which were even close to being mentioned in issue 9, King and his fucking wordplay. Jesus fuck this and the Justice League run, this is easiest his lowest of his recent works.
Morrison when?
And by Justice League, I mean Hitch's current shit stained run which is somehow worse than Johns.
>>87624159
i'm enjoying king's run a lot more than most, but yeah it could be way better
just fucking bring back morrison
Rebirth was plotted by Snyder, he's the one that does those unbelievably retarded "reimaginings" of Batman villains.
What are series that were at the hands of the wrong people?
Cartoon Hangover and Frederator deserve to be out of business
>>87623907
I have no examples to share
I just find it fucking hilarious that their greedy shitty plan backfired so hard.
They took cartoons that could easily have found funding and success on a network and said "no, fuck all you networks, we want 100% merch rights, WE'LL DO IT OURSELVES" and then had no idea who to hire or how to spend their money
>>87623907
Miraculous ladybug could have been more than a preschool toddlershit with no budget.
>>87623907
too bad both the pilot and the series look like absolute shit and are unfunny and unoriginal
It's kinda jarring to rewatch Iron Man 1. Other than arc reactors and AI, it feels so much more grounded than the other movies to come later, including the sequels.
Definitely doesn't feel like the same universe it became with gods and magic and talking alien trees and a man who can talk to ANTS.
Because it's not a Marvel Movie, it's just a Jon Favreau character drama. It's from the guy who wrote Swingers and directed Elf, so it's mostly a character piece with occasional punching.
>>87623801nice product placemen
>>87623910
Product placement and nice do not belong in the same sentence.
Okay folks, let's write Marvel Comics a letter about their current state and editorial mess, two words at a time.
Dear Marvel
President Trump
My fellow
David Pumpkins
>Who makes a better friend than a family member? That's why I married your beautiful mother.
Billy and Mandy got away with an incest joke.
>>87623341
That's not what that's saying and I think you know that. Is this some weird bait? What do you get out of weird bait? This? Is this worth it?
>>87623341
you have one filthy mind
all he said was that his wife was his best friend
>>87623341
I don't remember this episode.
I wish there was more Katma Tui art.
>>87623230
Why is she still dead anyway?
>>87623256
Geoff Johns is racist against magenta-skinned waifus
Just like Star Sapphire
>>87623256
I guess with Soranik around they figured they only needed one Korugarian lady
>ah, it's another "Daggett and Norbert are held hostage by a talking, reality warping yak voiced by Q from TNG episode"
>>87623080
I don't know what that is but I will do my best to have sex with it.
>>87623080
Don't attract the barneyfag
>>87623095
So you're going to get thatyak in the sack?
3 years ago today this horrible SpongeBob ''ratings trap'' special aired.
What was the plot?
Which one?
Am I supposed to recognize this?
>"We're made for each other!"
>"Brock's rage and vengefulness made us a perfect breeding ground!"
>"Far better than you, Parker!"
What did he mean by this?
>"My new boyfriend is so much better than you, Peter! I don't even need you anymore!"
>"Please come back to me, baby..."
>>87621909
>>"Brock's rage and vengefulness made us a perfect breeding ground!"
Does the symbiote want to hate bone Eddie?
>>87623307
Not really. Like >>87623013 said, the symbiote is more like a vengeful lover who's pissed that parker rejected them and will shack up with his enemies to partly punish him and partly to try and force him to come back
What's Worth reading? What's do you cats recommend?
Bonus points for download links
Pic related
We need to get back to updating the /co/ recommends images.
Pretty much all the ones I have on my main computer are like 3+ years old and the co recommend tumblr is a ghost town going to shambles.
Also WitchDoctor is great.
Still waiting to get past two trades worth of stories but the writer did promise it is in the works, but he told me that like almost 2 years ago.
>>87621912
Looks cool
Don't suppose you've got a link
Anyway gonna start downloading images from the corecommend table and saying what should be added in hopes other will do same.
This should include that recent Action Comics issue, as well as the Bizarro mini with his road trip with Jimmy Olsen
You guys think Bizarro big enough point in Forever Evil to include that too? Or nah not really.
HEY EVERYONE
HERMEY DOESN'T LIKE TO MAKE TOYS
>>87621729
Back off man, he wants to be a dentist.
>>87621729
What's that?! Hermey doesn't like to kill jews?
>>87621729
I REMEMBER WHEN THEY USED TO MAKE TOYS.
THOUSANDS OF YEARS AGO, IN THE DISTANT FUTURE, TOYS WERE OUTLAWED BY THE JEWS AND THEIR MAGIC GOLD
>autistic shapeshifting elf
Is Meggan the ultimate waifu? How fucking lucky is Captain Britain?
literally who
There's the downside that she'll unconsciously morph into what you like most, but at the cost of her own distinctive identity.
So as a waifu it's both literally perfect and dangerously too devout to your self-fulfillment
>>87623682
What if I liked it when she was a mothman-girl?
