/trash/ is way to degenerate to discuss a cartoon. There was a new episode today and there will be more this week.
What did you think of it?
Damn holiday, I totally forgot. Did anyone record it?
If the Loud House was a circus, who would perform which acts?
>>90112707
/trash/ is where the fun is.
There isn't much to talk about. The show is good but has no lore or depth.
So there is short movie about hero from russian comics - Major Grom.
There is english subtitles avialable (no german though), so I think /co/ should check this thing, cause it's pretty damn good and fun.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLt65JxNsWI
>>90112299
Can I watch it if I hate the russians?
>>90112299
Wait, so basically his power is to have a save state? That's pretty cool.
>>90112356
Yes? Well, it's based on russian comics, while russian comics is like a big bunch of references to western popular culture mixed with classical russian detective serials.
So it's kinda nice. I don't know how something can stop you from reading, for example, "Oliver Twist", cause you hate british.
Do people in animation industry really hate cartoon brew?
https://youtu.be/RQhC5Sw61As
Yes. I've only worked in commercial/freelance (FlickerLab, Little Airplane, shorts for pre-schoolers) , but the people there often roll their eyes at some of the things Amid says. Or they just don't talk about it at all because it never offers a serious platform for animation discussion since Amid laces articles so heavily with his own bias, you become more interested in attacking his own opinion than the issue at hand.
It sucks that it is still the number one animation news site, though. Blue Sky Studios, for example, has a website hub for their employees with a news feed link that takes headlines directly from CartoonBrew and links them on the home page. It's why you will notice whenever Amid talks shit about Blue Sky, which he often does, a ton of employees will come out of the forest to defend it. It's the same case with a couple of other studios, too, though this is information I've gotten from friends, so I'm not 100% certain if places like Frederator do it, too.
It's basically like Kotaku. They dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to criticizing every little thing they can, put heavy bias and spin on articles, and even try to shame creators if they disagree with them.
...But then they still want all the press cred and access to demos and respect as a legitimate journalistic organization.
>>90112445
Amid will never make up for the time he was given actual access to inside scoops about the Sausage Party animator scandal and passed on it in favor of keeping his shill deal to keep promoting the movie.
And then he still pat himself on the back for being the venue that got the scoop going.
Does /co/ know any good non capeshit shows that have cyberpunk esque settings?
>>90111513
>esque
Tron Uprising
Maybe Aeon Flux.
Maybe Motorcity.
There's no pure Cyberpunk cartoon out there aside from Batman Beyond and you said no capeshit.
>>90111513
samurai jack isn't cyberpunk. you're confusing cyberpunk with "darkly coloured moebius-shit" AKA pic related
>>90111513
There really aren't any, Cyberpunk is a severely underappreciated genre in the west.
Ask /a/, there's a decent handful of cyberpunk anime out there.
What did /co/ think?
>Savino admitted to putting Dexter's Lab into the ground
>>90111478
>Butch/Savino collab livestream.
Hmmm I wonder....
>>90106465
>>90111694
Oh no
>>90111478
>Butch/Savino Collab Livestream
Link?

There are new Elric comics?
>Stormbringer is a hueg animu sword

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P80UTMrpFIY
For those interested in how to dive into this series.
>>90111448
Ruby Throne and Stormbringer and The White Wolf is coming out in September.
>>90111454
It's always been described as something that Elric could never conceivably carry on his own.
>Meanwhile in a universe where characters aged realistically
So, how does everyone feel about this new "Spider-" arc? I mean the grandson of the original Spider-Man vs the son of the clone? Why don't they just team up?
>>90111323
Why did they have to add these stupid "No Age" pills everyone can take. Batman is like 80 but he still looks like he's 25. wtf
>>90111323
What are you talking about? Spider-man hasn't had a comic since it was cancelled 30 years ago.
Ok, /co/, serious question
Which one?
the mutant one
>>90111288
I let them rape each other and take the first lesbian baby they have
>>90111288
The one who's less likely to do horrible things to me for her amusement
Which one declined more after three or four great seasons?
>>90111061
>Gmod.
OP, now I wanna know the source of this image.
>>90111061
I loved the first 3 seasons of SpongeBob so much and I remember liking seasons 4 and 5. Season 6 though is where it got really bad though.
Fairly OddParents was great for the first 5 seasons. Seasons 6, 7, and 8 were decent and I didn't mind them, but season 9 was probably where it started to go really downhill.
I will go with SpongeBob as the one who declined more.
FOP
Stu could have done better, right?
Physically the white whoopi goldberg
>>90110809
You just hate her because she's Jewish.
Chaz is the only one who had good taste. He got two hot bitches
She is my waifu
>>90110790
Definitely.
>>90110790
>>90110830
That was her catchphrase if I remember correctly.
If Marvel died in 1996 would anything of value have been lost?
>>90110618
Yes but it would probably be for the better.
>>90110618
Clone saga
>>90110618
hey, why isn't Conan a flagship character anymore?
It's finally dead guys.
Now how can they restore Hellcat to what she once was?
What's Jubilee doing there?
>>90110269
> Now how can they restore Hellcat to what she once was?
And what would that exactly be, OP? What was she?
>>90110269
The damage is done OP. There is no going back.
How did a Lego Batman movie end up having a more heartfelt message at the end of the movie compared to all the live action ones /co/?
>>90110106
because its a parody of itself meaning it doesnt take its self seriously at all.
>>90110106
>a MORE heartfelt message
What is the heartfelt message in any of the DCEU?
Aside from, "We hope in our hearts THIS one makes Avengers cash".
>>90110106
It's actually about the hero.
and he's geniunely heroic.
good?
or bad??
literally the same
>>90110054
>Spongebob get's more solid and straight and less curvy as time goes on
I guess that's to make animation easier
>>90110054
2nd Sponge is best Sponge
Also it's weird that Spongebob has been going on for 18 years but only has 200 episodes, seems like it should have a lot more than that
