What did he mean by this?
>>90131772
It bland and lukewarm but it alright
>>90130580
It's funny you used family guy because that show is Alt-right, not alright.
It came on the other day and I can't believe I used to like it as a kid. It's extremely problematic. Lots of antiaemitism. Lots of portraying innocent Muslims as "Islamic" terrorists (they aren't real Muslims- but family guy bigots want you to think that because of their alt right agenda).

Last issue was a single, unrelated to main plot issue, right?
The difference here is that Taika is actually a great filmmaker.
I'm expecting Thor 3 to be GotG-tier.
>>90129926
I liked what I've seen of him but he's not exactly used to action blockbusters. Still, probably can't be worse than the first 2 ones.
>>90129926
>Taika
Who?
>GotG-tier
You mean it will end in a LE EBIN DANCE OFF X-DDD ?

the dance ruse was a DISTACTION
I just started reading Hellboy. Are the movies considered decent adaptations, do fans of the books enjoy them? Are we getting a 3rd?
>>90129815
In order of the questions:
1) There were a lot of liberties taken in adapting the comics into the films, but as a whole they are faithful to the spirit of the characters and source material.
2) I do. I know other fans who do. I have yet to meet a fan who loathes the movies, but I am sure they are out there and have reasons for their loathing.
3) As far as I know, nope.
>>90129815
The films are a lot lighter than the comics. Specially the second one, which is basically an regular adventure film, as opposed to the darker and introspective tone of the comics.
But that doesn't mean the films are bad. In fact, they are pretty good
the personalities are completely different
still worth watching for del taco scenery though

OK K.O. already has anough content to be considered a series
sucks for the rest tho
can someone fill me in why they greenlit Oscar & the Hedgehog before showing it to the audiences prior?
>>90128855
In order from left to right
>most likely will not get picked up. Episode premeire had abysmal number of views
>greenlit, but taking forever to make. Will most likely get broken apart for the sake of "bombs" that CN does
>nuPPG animation director. Final character designs are drastically different from concept art for the sake of making making things even easier for the storyboarders as if their jobs were already easy enough
>Not a word about it since the pilot episode. Probably not going to get a full series either.
Looks like were headed for another dark age of western animation /co/.
I hope you enjoy all the cape shit movies and educational baby cartoons that will fill in the gaps though
Post comics or cartoons that /co/ consistently despises that you for some reason or another really enjoy. I'll start with something easy.
>Wanted by Mark Millar
Easily some of the edgiest writing I've ever seen in six issues but it was visually entertaining and it's obvious it was made with purpose. I don't agree with a lot of the character progression that occurs but god damn do I still think it's a fun story.
>>90128708
People hate Wanted for the most retarded reasons.
I consider Ultimate Wolverine vs. Hulk to be my favorite set of issues out of the entire Ultimate Marvel Universe aside from Ultimate Spider-Man. These six issues only slightly edge out over Millar Ultimates.
Part of what makes it so entertaining is that every issue subverts expectations and takes the story in experimental directions thay may not appease action junkies. It's not for everyone and the back half is definitely the weirder of the issues but still great.

When did comics stop becoming so verbose?
I must admit I have a hard reading some older comics due the sheer verboseness of them. Is there a point in time when that stopped? Or did it happen happen over a number of years?
The verbosity of this post has piqued my interest
>>90128628
I tried to keep it funny (and serious) but I don't know if I did it wrong, or others wouldn't find it funny.
Around 80s-90s when reprint collections became a thing.
