Because there are two or three diametrically opposing approaches and everyone at WB thinks they know what's best.
You have the people who want the universe to be based on director-driven, almost auteur movies, such as The Dark Knight.
Then you have the Marvelfags who want the movies to be Marvel clones and micromanage the directors, which is what ruined Green Lantern.
Then, and this one is not confirmed, but there's possibly those who want to approach it like comic book editors and focus on interconnecting everything.
The irony is even with the supposedly auteur movies some executives fuck with things because of MUH REALISM.
Imagine how much better BvS would have been by taking out Wonder Woman and all the JL leadup alone.Honestly the movie isn't any worse than Iron Man 2, which was a similar mess, yet people act like it's some kind of travesty.
Also OP you're retarded for lumping them all together and treating it like it's Marvel where it's just one franchise. MoS -> BvS -> WW -> JL is obviously one series, while SS is a totally different franchise that happens to be set in the same universe. That's like reading New 52 SS and Batman/Superman and saying DC as a whole sucks because those two suck.

Didn't they have some new policy put in place where they agreed that for every 1 new original film they put out, they had to make X amount of sequels?
I think it was done to compete with Dreamworks' and other studios' franchising strategies. A lot of animated big name CG films now aim to become big franchise hits to maximize earning potential, and that means putting out a new sequel every few years to keep the brand relevant. The movies don't even have to be good after a bit as long as the first one was popular enough.

I'm well past the point where I think the whole show is in his head, as I did until the end of Episode 1. But something is sticking with me...
In Episode 1, when Syd comes to David's room, you don't see her feet underneath the bed when she enters the room. Heavily implying she was either not really there or invisible or a projection. This is never explained and it still makes me suspicious of her. Which is a shame, because I really enjoy their relationship

So I watched the Peanuts movie finally. Very feelgood film. I was really impressed with the way they animated the characters and gave them more personality than the original cartoons, especially Peppermint Patty, all her mannerisms were a perfect fit for her. She is top contender for Charlie's waifu.
Speaking of, in the last thread we were drafting up a Peanuts Dating Sim so lets continue that.
