The Golden age of such shows came and was promptly killed off; it's not happening again. Korra was the last action show that ran its full length, so I think it's better this way.

Maybe from French/Japanese collaboration cartoons, the west is doomed and Canadian cartoons haven't been good for decades.

I re-watched it a few years ago, it holds up well. I didn't bother with S2 though, the animation just put me off.
