Why do people hate Carol now even though 1 of the like, 3, decent comics she's had came after she became Captain Marvel?
>>93196791
It's just a bandwagon of /pol/ hating anything to do with women
I'm super confused why everyone was against her in Civil War 2, sure her tactics didn't have much nuance but she just wanted to stop innocent civilians from evil, like Thanos and shit
I was totally on her side
oops like one or two innocent people are jailed, but that's literately just like the real world, nbd
also its cool that she kinda has a team in Alpha Flight but wish it was more of a ragtag cosmic thing, like a new Marvel Team-Up where she had mini-arcs with Quasar, Starbrand, other not often used space people, etc... and just have fun badass adventures
also the entire thing with Roades was retarded and I like him a lot, just it was hamfisted as fuck
have her tighten her friendship with Wanda would be nice
and I like her being overprotective over her little Jess

Roman Reigns effect. The harder something gets pushed the more people will push back even if he's a good guy who puts on great matches.
Why is gaz so perfect?
Because that's not what she looks like.
>>93196609
too bad for the leg tumors

Doing a pity bump and a quick dump of Adult Gaz that actually looks like Gaz.
This was Ben's #1 Favorite Alien, say something nice about him!

I always thought he preferred Four Arms.
He was pretty powerful.
Haha time to kneel!

Both of you.

Panels three and five, new reaction images.
I'm suddenly getting the vibe that the ending of this chapter is going to be exceptionally cruel.
Hey, /co/
What are the essential reads for non-superhero books?
I'm looking into some Image published series, but I'm not sure what worth picking up.
Got any suggestions? It doesn't have to be Image, just non-superhero comics.
>>93195852
>What are the essential reads
what
you can read whatever you want though
>>93195852
Descender. It's my favorite Image title.
>>93195852
What do you mean by essential? Best of all time? That's incredibly subjective and can be judged on a variety of merits ranging from action art to atmosphere.
What kind of story do you want to read, let's start there.
This September!

Blackest Night is better
It would've been better if it'd been contained to just the Green Lantern title.
Making it a bimonthy year-long series was the wrong call.
I recently went to a family reunion in a city 600 miles from home; while I was there, I stopped by a local comic book store and found this issue of Starfire in one of the boxes. The owner initially asked for a dollar, but almost immediately went to 50 cents before then telling me, I kid you not, "You know what, you can have it." Needless to say, I was happy. Long story short, my knowledge of her came from the original Teen Titans cartoon, and the only thing I heard about this series was that it is it's a soft reboot from her appearance in Red Hood and the Outlaws & that one review called it the road to Rebirth. Can anyone tell me more about this series and whether I should buy the whole series?
>>93195580
I enjoyed it but it does meander quite a bit. It is a fun read but don't expect much out of it. Also it got cancelled so be ready for an abrupt end.
It's a decent lighthearted series part of DC's short lived DCYou line. Worth a look. Any idea why comicbook guy was so eager to give it away?
>>93195580
The entire series is collected into two trades. Just buy it anon. I loved it. Even if you don't, the art is great.
ITT: we pitch dream shows to replace what is on today's air
Just recently heard of the wave of cancellations for CN. About 2-3 years ago I was in a thread where we all put together this idea for a show about a skeleton detective. It was meant to have a dark, Hellboy like vibe, and he had a werewolf for a partner. Couldn't help but be loaded with bone puns, and solving weird paranormal cases. Let me hear your pitches.
