Hello /co/, how are you fine people today?
I have been strangely on it with translating and lettering lately, so today, I bring you another freshly translated French comic.
This is from a series called Seven, each volume is a completely separate setting, story, by different writers and artists, all formed around the idea of 7 (Insert people here), so for example there was Seven Psycopaths, about 7 people sent to assassinate Hitler (Art by Sean Phillips and available officially in English, and before anyone mentions it, it was out way before the film).
This volume is about Seven rich cannibals who have a yearly party to indulge their sick tastes, but they may have picked the wrong girl this year.
I'm sure someone will ask somewhere in the comments anyway, but I'm not going to release a download link until corrections are in and... corrected. That likely won't be until next week as I'm out most nights this week and on holiday this weekend.
As always, I would very much appreciate any comments, corrections and criticisms.

I really hate the switching of artists in comic series.
Aside from that, my biggest issue is I can't really seem to care much about the story or characters. I enjoyed the gimmicky "updated version of this god" with every new character, but it gets old. I'm at issue 16. Should i stop or does it get more interesting? Does the baby's role turn out to be interesting in any way? I bet it's Zeus, and if it is I'll just be bored again.
Anyway, opinions on this run I guess. Did you like it?

I'd say keep going, it definitely got better as it went. Re-reading it a lot of the first half is boring or even cringe-inducing in some spots, but the latter half a lot more seems to happen faster.
Wondie is totally OOC half the time and Azz's arrogant attitude towards her history is fucking annoying as shit, but halfway through he seems to at least TRY to address the complaints and possibly actually read a Wonder Woman comic.

Weirdly enough the issue 0 with her young self having a self contained adventure reminded me how much I love super heroes in that format. the decompressed story telling thing with adventures spanning tons of issues is really boring as fuck to me. And I see there's 52 issues total. Don't think i'll go that far.

It seems to be a common opinion (especially on /co/) that cartoon episodes were always self-contained in stories and that Avatar started it to be much "anime-like" to have a progressive story.
To which I say is bullshit - I mean, older cartoons like Teddy Ruxpin, Transformers, G.I Joe, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, Adventures of The Galaxy Rangers, Inhumanoids, Jem, ThunderCats (both versions) , DuckTales, and then later with shows such The Legend of Prince Valiant, Invasion America, Princess Gwenevere and the Jewel Riders, X-Men, Spiderman, Iron Man, Fantastic Four, Incredible Hulk, Double Dragon, King Arthur and The Knights of Justice, Shadow Raiders, The Pirates of Dark Water, Conan the Adventurer, Exosquad, Phantom 2040, Beast Wars, Gargoyles, Reboot, Superman TAS, Silver Surfer, Batman Beyond, Xyber 9: New Dawn, Redwall, XMen Evolution, As Told By Ginger, TMNT (later 1987 series episodes and 2003 series), He-Man (both 1983 and 2002 versions), Jackie Chan Adventures, Static Shock, Justice League/Unlimited, Argai: The Prophecy, Chris Colorado, WITCH, Xiaolin Showdown, Danny Phantom, Codename Kids Next Door, Teen Titans, American Dragon (Season 2), Kim Possible (Season 4), Avatar: The Last Airbender, Transformers Animated, Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2003 and 2008 series)/Rebels, Ben 10 (OS and UAF), The Batman, Legion of Superheros, Total Drama, Speed Racer The Next Generation, Wolverine and The X-Men, Spectacular Spiderman, Iron Man: Armored Adventures have definite continuity and a story that moves forward. You would never understand future episodes without watching older ones.

I think it was more about the promise of modern Cartoon Saloon doing an ongoing series rather than anything that was really on display - also, that's a little harsh. There's a whole lot worse out there

I think it's mostly collectors buying it. It's pretty fucking mediocre. It's not even so bad/crazy that it becomes fun, like Dark Knight Strikes Again and All-Star Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder.

Superman is 100% correct in this case. Batman is fucking stupid to think you could imprison someone like Brainiac forever. Hell, Joker alone has escaped many times and killed hundreds of people. The risk is too great with someone like Brainiac.
