In capeshit comics, events happen. Events are big stories featuring tons of characters from almost all of the current books.
The event itself is usually its own book, usually something like a 12 part miniseries.
But all of the current books will have one or two tie-in issues that are also part of the event, and take place between issues of the core event miniseries.
How important, relevant, or necessary these tie-ins varies from 100% to less than zero. It is by far the most confusing aspect of modern American comics and it's not going away anytime soon.
The lesson is, don't fucking read events, and don't fucking read ongoings that have event tie-ins. Avoid that shit like the plague.
NEVER read comics until the run is over and trades are made. Never.

Trades have tie ins too though, I remember reading the Jeff Lenore Superboy trade and half way through there's this random doomsday issue that tied into a superman event and no other issue mentioned it before or after.

I can't remember the name of it and its driving me crazy. I think it may have come on public access or something. It was about these two monster dudes who would go in the woods and paint stuff on the trees and like go into the worlds they painted or the stuff they painted came to life. It was like a show for little kids. The pic is me drawing them crappily on my touchpad from memory. One was this dude with a big beak like face who was pretty up beat normal type guy and the other was this purple monster dude who was always sad. He was kinda like Eeyore from Winne The Pooh. Does anyone else know of this cartoon?

Looks like was designed to fit Marge Simpsons hair.
I found this show that was made in South Korea and it had 3 seasons made. I watched a couple episodes and while the character design could use work and has occasional toilet humor it was pretty decent. The budget between season 1 and season 2 is very noticeable and I was wondering how widely known this cartoon is for co.

Shippers and waifufags elevate to a plane it does not deserve. Overall its just merely okay mainly because the second season managed to fix most of the problems in the first but I think the third season will be the determining factor in it all.
