ITT: Weirdest cartoons you've enjoyed
I have so many of them I enjoy for their weirdness, but this is just one.
here's another

Thanks now I'm nostalgic.
* The TV series has better lore. Example: Genesis doesn't go straight to Jesse, it blows up a couple of other preachers before it finds him
* The TV show has better character design. Example: The fucking angels and their stupid haircuts.
* The TV show has more fleshed out characters. Example: Pretty much EVERY character has more personality, backstory, and they're much more likable. Particularly the angels.
* The TV show has more humor.
* The TV show doesn't start with a steaming heap of exposition unlike the comic.
Basically if you don't like the TV show better than the comic you're just NOT MUH
Wait is this already out?

Roundly false.

Rush isn't amazing.
There. You forced me to tell a LIE.
>It turns out the name “Andy” written underneath Woody’s foot actually refers to Andy Sr., the father of the child Andy from the first three Toy Story films. It’s revealed that Andy Sr., who doesn’t appear in any of the films, contracted polio as a child, so all his belongings were burned for safety. However, he managed to save three toys, locking them away in a trunk: Woody, Mr. Potato Head and Slinky Dog. Andy Sr. lived to be an adult, marrying Molly and fathering their son Andy Jr.
>As polio can be known to do, it struck again later in Andy Sr.’s life, forcing Andy and his family to move back to his parents’ house, where he eventually passed away. Before he died, however, he managed to introduce his son to the trunk that contained his old toys. Sometime after the funeral, Andy Jr. opened up the trunk, finding Woody, Mr. Potato Head and Slinky.
>Well, when Andy Jr. opened the trunk, the toys didn’t actually realize this was a different Andy. They assumed Andy Jr. was the same boy that was forced to lock them away decades prior.

But that's just a theory
A GAME THEORY

>Woody, Slinky, and Potato Head were the only survivors of a toy genocide

so this would be equivalent of a jew tatoo then?
Is there a super villain so pathetic and unthreatening that the Punisher wouldn't kill him?
>>93426141
Punisher killed Stilt-Man for crying out loud.
>>93426180
Wasn't Stilt-Man still a murderer?
Punisher usually goes after murderers, slavers, and rapists. Some manchild dressing up as a rabbit or something and stealing Easter baskets isn't worth his time.

If you have to ask
He's pretty beloved on /co/ so I'd say yes
I'm cautiously optimistic about this Legacy thing. I read both Marvel & DC (just a superhero fan in general), & Rebirth has been pretty fucking great for DC. Almost every title is super fun to read & the overall Rebirth story has been pretty solid.
I'm concerned about something though.
Do you think they're going to bring back some of the original designs? I noticed the original Cap on the cover of the Thing/Torch cover. Maybe it's just me, but honestly...that wouldn't be great. Don't get me wrong, I love Alex Ross and his artwork is phenomenal, but personally, I can't stand any of the older costume designs. Like Cap, for example; the boots, the head wings, the gloves...what the fuck is even going on? Honestly, I've never been a fan of many older costume designs. Personally I think the costume should be reflective of the time period. What would our government outfit a super soldier with? He's not impervious to bullets, so a little body armor & a helmet. A utility belt is a must. All terrain boots, shit like that. Marvels main continuity takes place in 2017...right? I don't even know anymore. Marvel's been a goddamn dumpster fire lately. Secret Empire's been entertaining though.
If they're tying to do what DC did with Rebirth, they should find a good balance between older & more modern designs. I dunno, character designs can really make or break a series for me.
>>93425459
That's a lot of text for a variant cover event celebrating nothing ever changing.
>>93425459
>but honestly...that wouldn't be great.
I think it's great because I've never liked any of the new suits that Cap has gotten in the past 7 years except maybe the Director of SHIELD one (but that I liked more in Winter Soldier). They felt like pale imitations of the Ultimate suit (which worked more in that universe and in MCU).
>>93425459
Why would you be optimistic about what basically amounts to a bunch of half assed variants and a few stealth minis?
ITT: We discuss rape in /co/mics and cartoons
>Does it add depth to the character? Has a rape story even been written well?
>If you favorite super hero or heroine were raped, how would that change them in your opinion?
>>93425342
Weren't MOST superheros raped at some point?
I mean, Batman has a rape-baby, Mrs. Marvel has one, Superman was brainwashed and probably used for sexuals during the 80s...
It usually gets retconned and doesn't matter any longer, like anything that happens in Marvel/DC capeshit.
>We'll never see this version of Kori ever again thanks to the weeboo Teen Titans cartoon
Just another reason why Comics > Cartoons
For all the bitching you guys do about SJWs, at least they current climate keeps comics writers from putting their spank fiction into every fucking book.
What's with the lack of uniformed police women in comics?
I dunno actually. How often do we see female cops in movies or tv?
FACT: Lady Cop is one of the greatest DC comic book characters of ALL TIME and is LONG OVERDUE for an EXCITING REBOOT perhaps under YOUNG ANIMAL or some other imprint.
>>93425397
Pretty much every cop show.
Unfortunately they're usually plain clothes.
Because
Because lots of characters have powers that work instantaneously meaning flash could do nothing to stop them
Because
how bad do you think the Captain Marvel movie will be /co/?
Obviously they will draw inspiration from the recent comic runs so keep that in mind.
It'll be fun.
I think it will be safe as fuck.
>>93425102
Avengers 1 level. Played safe as possible and is just another 2.25hr tv episode with awkward cgi.
