Wait a minute, something just hit me
Did this show have NO FEMALE CHARACTERS AT ALL???
Nope. About a confident bro and his boy toy.
Also Sonic and Tails starred in it as well.
Regular characters? Recurring characters? No. Occasionally a one-shot, though.
>>93408363
that's why it was the best Sonic cartoon
When you look back at it, it is kind of amazing how much of what is considered "4chan culture" was either outright created or inspired by one dude.
>>93407869
hey kc you masturbate often enough on twitter i don't think you need to do it on 4chan too.
give that hand a rest.
>>93407869
>people use panels from your "a funny face is a good punchline" comics as reaction images
>this means that you created 4chan culture
Please die of ass cancer.

It's a real shame that his work has gone so steeply downhill. I feel like it was when he started making those Frog comics in Gunshow that he really lost the spark. From there, all his humor has since been derived of his depression or watered down severly. Like in the comic you posted, the Lorax accuses KC of Raping mother earth. He'd never use that phrasing nowadays.
However, he's been on a bit of an upswing with Back and HIAGB. Back because all the art is by Nedroid, and HIAGB because of the backstory he's created. Back's story and humor are actually good too, so maybe I'm simplifying his contributions there, but the art in HIAGB can be Godawful sometimes, and the whole Looney Tunes parody he did in the mad scientists castle was only funny on a meta level when the corpse in the machine is talking about how they made the same cartoon twice in two styles because of bugs' design changing.
tl;dr, KC went through a big rough patch, but he's still alright.
>For me – and I suspect for most comics creators – The Shadow is an irresistible property. The hat and scarf, the cold eyes and colder laugh, the wisp of cordite and the flourish of a cape: all plucked wholesale from the noir pulps and radio plays of the 1930’s. You don’t say “no” to a true primogenitor like that. On the taxonomical chart of Western comics he’s a common ancestor for a sizeable chunk of the marketplace. Every street vigilante, every masked crime-fighter, every necessary monster: he’s in the DNA of them all. A living fossil, a coelacanth or goblin-shark for the comics world, swimming in waters of ice and ink. And like all perfectly engineered things he endures – he flourishes – amidst newer, cockier, less perfect specimens.
Si Spurrier on the Shadow comic he's writing.

I'm so excited for this run. The shadow is my husbando
>>93408963
>I'm so excited for this run
I am not, the evidence strongly suggest he will turn it into anti Trump propaganda and have the Shadow's powers be used to prove that conservatives are evil racist because they irrationally hate irrelevant things like skin color and not because certain sub groups of certain races pose the daily threat of rape & murder in the streets.
Sounds like he has some real respect for the character. Looking forward to this.
what's the appeal
furries + NEETs = ?????
>>93407746
Pussy
>>93407746
Been asking this myself for a while now and I've never been given a solid answer. I really have no idea what's supposed to be appealing about her.
I mean, I guess she has a nice voice...?
Ah fuck
You're an entire day late.

Not surprising after the casting call.
But anyway, who cares what background characters they put in anyway. JLaw and Magneto are returning and the director has never made a movie before, but written almost all the shitty ones of the franchise.
>>93407389
Hes written all of them and X3 was just Ratner being Ratner. He has enough experience in the industry to make a good movie.
>>93407389
Yeah, this is the unfortunate reality. They introduced/teased Jubilee literally 3 times and she never mattered once, for example
>/co/ shows off their date
>>93406748
Wow, I've never touched a g-girl before...
>>93406748
Why is Mexico literally saving cartoons?
Now that I have your attention, is this show actually decent? It seems pretty fun? Also, if it is good, has it been picked up for more seasons?
>>93406581
Wasn't a huge fan. Felt pretty generic.
>>93406581
Teodora (the ghost girl) is by far the best character and thankfully she gets the lion's share of development. I think it's pretty good all around though
>>93406581
I can't wait for all the retarded western artists to say "they're just letting minorities have the spot light they deserve" to make up for the fact they are devoid of talent and story writing/telling
What issues can I see a Giant Wasp?

I never knew she could do that, since it almost never happened throughout most of her history.
>We will never get a lead male protagonist as amazing and deep as Goliath was
He was too innocent and beautiful for this world.
Something about him feels familiar
I still have hope they'll return
what would It be like been a gargoyle, sure you get to sort-of fly but you'll only have 6 hours of consciousness in the summer
Who does Billy turn into? At first I thought it was a older version of himself but Captain Marvel has different color eyes. Also Black Adam is a completely different person than the old man.
The Shazam kids all just seem to be older more fit versions of themselves though.
So does it make you a better version of yourself or turn you into a specific god?
Captain Marvel
>>93405456
But she's from Marvel.
>>93405456
Who is Captain Marvel? Was he a god that existed before or is he Billy's imagination?
So I'm generally seeing two different opinions about this guy. It's either
>Stupidly overpowered to the point of being boring, can easily crush Goku
or
>Weak as shit, Goku and a bat with no powers wipe the floor with him
Which one is it really? It's strange how two very widespread opinions on a character's strength level can be such opposites.
>>93404943
It depends on the writer but I'd say it's the former with him being a stupidly overpowered fuck boy.
>Stupidly overpowered to the point of being boring, can easily crush Goku
IMO, I find it stupid that people value characters having flaws because "they're relatable."
>Weak as shit, Goku and a bat with no powers wipe the floor with him
If a person don't like a character because he/she is "week" then the person is an idiot.
Superman is as strong as the story needs to be. His strength isn't supposed to be the highlight of the media.
He's a immigrant raised by farmers. He believes in people but knows they aren't infallible, and neither is he. He can make mistakes that could blow the world apart and so can you. That's sort of what he's supposed to represent really. Good person who chooses to help people out of a belief in it.
Some people write him better then others that's for sure. Can someone post his conversation with Monaghan?
Far as I can see, DC hasn't used this character in years. Did she not make the jump to New 52?
Always liked her design. She seems like great Titans material, if nothing else.
Especially because she and Red Cyclone made adorable friends.
Was it the dress? Was that too much?

PUNISHER STORYTIME
All this year I'll be posting Punisher storytimes focusing mostly on the pre-Ennis era, but with the occasional Ennis era story and possibly some post-Ennis era stories at some point. Expect at least one storytime per week.
Last week I posted the Baron/Texeira run on The Punisher War Journal. This week we're going to finish the Mike Baron run on the book. Mark Texeira doesn't draw any of these issues. Instead Ron Wagner takes his place for most of them, with a couple other artists turning in some solid issues as well. The first issue in particular is some fucking 10/10 art.
Like the rest of Baron's run on this book, these are some really entertaining as fuck issues and I'd highly recommend reading them. They include a 3-parter with painted covers by Joe Jusko, an absolutely hilarious/ludicrous (depending on how you look at it) semi-parody issue where Punisher meets an actor playing him in a movie (that almost resembles the kinds of stories Baron would do on Badger), a somewhat well know issue where Punisher crashes a wedding which features one of the most hilarious pages in Punisher comic history (and one of the best covers), and a couple other cool stories.
Anyway, let's get right into this.
