So...I went over a friends house last night, said they were making burgers
When I got there they were done, I inspected the burger I was given....it was a burger with avacado, a fried egg, turkey bacon, tomato, their special sauce (it was siracha mixed in mayo) on a pretzel bread bun
I ate it of course, but the whole time I are I kept thinking "I am literally eating a memeburger"

Why do I give so little of a fuck about dessert foods /ck/? Why are the vast majority of any food cravings I get for salty/savory/meat/dairy with a virtually nonexistent sweet tooth?
>>7277589
because you're a healthy well-adjusted adult
Because you're a bore
Since I love cooking and hate baking, I almost always crave savory since I know I can whip it up in the kitchen. I never was a sweets fan though
Jet's Pizza Turbo Sticks are so good, I get an insane craving for them every day
What do you crave?
About once a week I think, "FUCK I need buffalo wings." I only act on it every couple of months but it seriously torments me and I don't know why
Jets is greasy as fuck but it tastes so good.
What do I crave? I crave a world where 13 year old sluts can be legally raped and implanted.

I crave a board without the constant shilling.
Sriracha or Sambal Oelek? Which is better?
Vote here: http://strawpoll.me/6563384
'cha or sa'?
Never tasted Sriracha, but I use Sambal at least twice a week in my cooking.
Never had Sambal, but I'm going to lean towards Sriracha because I doubt Sambal would be good in a Bloody Mary (my primary use for Sriracha).

What if you get a burnt one, Anon?
Thanks for caring, next time I'll check each and every one of them.

Who cares if its burnt
What if there's a bug cooked into one?
Do you peel your button mushrooms?
I've never heard about not peeling them, my girlfriend says the same about peeling them
Nah. I've never fluted one either.

What kinda food is that?
He spent his career making it to being a semi decent chef.
(That's a pretty fucking terrible way to live.)
Then he wrote a book about the standard cook/chef experience, which actually did really well, and because he had a unique voice he was given a TV show, and then another, and another...
It's not something you can work towards, he just got really lucky late in his career.
Do you like sloppy joes? I know you likes em sloppayy

I'm 22 and live with my mom.
I have no experience at all cooking, baking, using the stove, oven, mixing food in a bowl, following a recipe, cutting or slicing food, etc.
I only know how to prepare microwaved food, toast, cereal, sandwiches, spreading peanut butter on toast, stuff like that.
My mom makes all my meals. But I want that to change. My only problem is I have a fear of knives, boiling water, stove smoke, getting burned, getting cut, etc.
I really have a fear of fucking up and making something explode or opening the stove, looking inside, and burning my face.
i have a fear of frying eggs because i'm afraid that the oil will splash on me.
I also dislike oil and grease and hate getting my hands sticky. I also hate eating sticky, greasy or oily food.
I'm afraid of cutting and slicing things. I have no experience with this and I'm afraid I'll accidently cut off my finger. Or atleast severly hurt myself. I'm also afraid of falling on my knife or slipping with my knife.
How do i get over these fears and dislikes. And how long before I get good at these things.

No surprises here, you are American. Just check out all the Fast-Food threads on the catalogue and pick your favourite fast food joint.
None of these things have ever happened to me and I have no idea what the fuck I'm doing when it comes to cooking. Don't be afraid to fail OP, you gotta suck before you get good, and if you're too scared to suck you'll never be better than you are now.

Get an education, you filthy foreigner.
Had my first miracle berry experience the other day. It was a lot of fun but some foods were overwhelmingly sweet. Later i was told that some people are 'supertasters' and that i might be one since the taste was so extreme for me. either way 10/10 would try again. what is your opinion on miracle berries?
Supertaste my dick faggot

Used them to diet earlier last year. Totally worked. Strawberries were my favorite.
I did it two years ago. I was stoned and then I chugged a chick fil a lemonade. Your lips can still taste sour though so be careful
