What does /ck/ think about stevia-based sweeteners? Is it a good alternative to sugar for those watching their sugar intake?

Don't bother. They all taste like shit and leave a terrible chemical after taste in your mouth.
>>
>>7420676
I haven't been able to get my hands on pure stevia until now. I bought like 5 different bottles and all were 95% some other sweeteners like erythritol mixed with stevia. One kind really just tasted like that common mixture of cyclamate and saccharin so I can't even say I ever tasted stevia.
If stevia really tastes like that I don't like it.
I recognized its taste in that new coca cola life version or whatever it's called and didn't like it.

Have you ever tried stevia so far?
>>
>>7420676
Stevia actually gives me a very bad sense of depersonalization. I have to sleep or I wont know what Im doing after having it, its really weird 2bh

Do you eat Oreos, /ck/?

What is your favorite variety? How do you like to eat them?

If you dunk them, how long do you keep it under? Do you use a fork?

The best oreos

Who makes girl scout cookies, andWtf do girls scoot even do? All it seems like is a marketing ploy to make you buy cookies at an overpriced rate. Using minors as their work force. I will admit it is pretty smart.

Why feed it to a child even? You fucking hate them or something?

Just hide the juice box dipshit. This is why I tell the girl at McD's to put the toy in a regular bag.

/ck/, I come to you because I fear nobody else gives a shit about my suffering.

Right now, as we speak, two portugesas in my appartment are literally killing 2 decent pieces of meat.

First they add table margarin to the pan. They they put the pan on medium heat, and just throw these 2 pieces in. The pieces are covering the entire pan. It's lightly damping.

fucking kill me it bothers me so fucking much,

does anyone feel the same?

When the grocery has sales such as 10/$10, if I wanted to buy just one item, is the cost $1?

What's the best time of the week/month for buying meat/fish?

Any advice or wise "shopper" knowledge appreciated
11 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
>>7423337
Unless it specifies something like must buy 10, they will be $1 each and this is usually the case.
>>
>>7423337
I learned this recently.

Unless it says "Must buy 10" then it's a dollar each. Make sure you watch the screen when the cashier is checking it out to make sure it rings up as a dollar though. If it doesn't, mention something and they'll usually either price adjust it or verify the price for you.

Shopper knowledge: shop the sales items only. Using coupons and ibotta is another great way to save.

Picked up a pretty nasty Hobart 1512 slicer for $250 the other day from a public surplus auction site. The old SOB has been around for 50+ years.

Aside from being well used it had a broken switch and needed all the old lube cleaned out to get running smoothly.

Need to sharpen the blade and will be good to go.

Why get a food slicer? Why not and because I can.

What's the best brownie recipe?

I don't like brownies.

Except the ones the cafeteria at school served back in the late 60s... tough, dry... you'd have to GNAW on those fuckers to eat them... they were fantastic!

I don't like squishy brownies. I want a brownie that FIGHTS.

are you 400 pounds?

I like to snack while i'm using the pc and I really like spicy food.

Is there some spicy snack out there which is healthy and not calorie-intense.
I want to snack but not if I become unhealthy and fat through it.

Also spicy food general

Steam some veggies, throw spices on them.

If you're super lazy, just get a bag of baby carrots and celery and dip them in Sambal Oelek, or put either sriracha or wasabi on them.
>>
just pour a few drops of tabasco into your mouth
>>
>>7423528
Spicy snacks tend to be fattening. Partly because snacks are usually fattening and partly because oil is often used to spread the spiciness. I would just recommend straight up eating chillis if you're snacking constantly but there are relatively healthy alternatives like sardines with spicy tomato sauce, greens with spicy dressings, nori with chilli paste and so on but they do have oil.

I will just take this opportunity to say that my favourite 'spicy' snack is wasabi peanuts.

amerilards will buy this, having only ever tasted great value brand extra lite low sodium soy sauce, and they will then proclaim that amerilardistan fixed soy sauce and asia is now irrelevant, it's 2016 we have the craft soy sauce now! best served on the new artisan rice (i.e., rice that isn't boil in a bag uncle ben's)
