What's the best fast food outlet in your area and what country are you representing?
Australian citizen here. Thoroughly enjoy eating oporto.
Good chips.
Unprocessed chicken.
Oprego sauce is delicious.

>portillos
>buona beef
>chicfillet
>white castle
Chicago

If you're talking chain fast food then
Nandos >>>>>> Oporto
I like Grill'd but it's so expensive you could go to a top tier burger restaurant and get something better for only slightly more or the same price.
What's the consensus on Seagrams gin? I usually get Gordon's when I get cheap gin but I'm wondering if there's better (as well as cheap) options out there.
Also general /liquor/ thread.
Stick with Gordon's
If you want to go up a level, get Plymouth.
>>7433765
>Stick with Gordon's
I had a feeling about that, it IS pretty good for how cheap it is, none of the other cheap gin's I've tried have that juniper/pine taste. I'll check out Plymouth though.
>>7433743
I used to enjoy it ice cold with fresh squeezed lemon juice over ice. Can't drink gin anymore, makes my liver hurt more than any other kind of booze.
How do you make good sandwiches without mayo?
I'll eat more vegetables, I'll cut sugary drinks, but how the FUCK do you survive without mayonnaise?
>>7433723
Try some vegan fucktard style stuff like hummus or avocado
>>7433723
use butter
>>7433742
This actually works pretty well.
Anyone here managed to cut processed sugar out of their diet?
>>7433678
I got one for you
substitute your next meal with a bullet that comes out of the barrel of a gun
when I was in college I cut it out pretty well. I got lean and stayed lean for a long time.
Whose got the best shakes out there?
>>7433534
Your mom has the best shakes if you know what I mean.~
5 dollar shake
>>7433534
in my experience you'll find them at a local diner.
I live in Ottawa and there's a diner in the market called Zak's which has bretty good shakes
>tfw raspberry milkshake
more places and brands need to make raspberry icecream. Although it's entirely possible i'm being biased because no where else have I been able to find a raspberry shake, not that I ever eat out a lot. I haven't even been to Zak's in years now so who even knows?
We have not had a 5:2 thread in AGES!
As usual, post your 500 calorie meals and success stories.
>>7433451
>success stories.
>fad diets
are you actually this fucking moronic or are you only pretending?
>>7433451
5:2 a shit, 4:3 superior
But anyway I've been thinking of rolling sheets of nori into tight sticks to snack on. Only 5 calories a stick and nice trace mineral contents.
>>7433451
>Fatties eating only 1000 calories a day when they're used to 3000+
Yeah, that'll work.
What's the best peppers for cooking with and why is it these hot little bastards?
Jalapeno
Cayenne
adjuma
madame jeanette
habanero
In that order.
chipotle or nothing
>>7432965
have you cooked with all of them?
How does /ck/ like to cook crabs? One month until soft shell season begins.
Also other shellfish general thread
>>7432363
In the popcorn popper at the movie theater
>>7432363
If softshell, deep-fried whole in tempura batter
For normal crabs my favorite is to chop 'em up and stir-fry with black beans or chili paste. They're also good boiled or grilled.
Crab dip and crab cakes and crab pretzels and crab melts and crab crab.
Is it any good? I've been getting increasingly hungry over it watching it my dog eat. It's basically just chunks of meat in a gravy with some added vitamins. It cannot be that bad to my health, right?
>>7432253
Not bad with a little 'cha
My friend had to repair some of the equipment they use to make dog food. I wouldn't eat it senpai.
>>7432253
If it's out of a can then it would be sterile and therefore safe to eat. Why you would want to eat that nasty-smelling shit is beyond my comprehension, but it's not dangerous.
I like canned pineapple and would like to do more with it. I struggle coming up with simple ideas, though.
1. Eating it raw.
2. On pizza.
3. In a chicken and rice pot with coconut milk.
That's about it. Does someone have some ideas for me? It doesn't need to be a full meal or anything.
>>7432161
It's delicious with a bit of the syrup/juice on vanilla ice cream.
>>7432161
Or batter and fry the rings, add a bit of cinnamon and sugar.
Num nums.
>>7432161
You can make excellent sauces from it. A BBQ sauce for pork, or the classic Chinese sweet-and-sour.
It's also good grilled. Just slap the rings on the grill and let them brown a bit.
Or add to a mixed fruit salad.
Worst vegetable.
Does celery actually have any culinary uses besides mirepoix and anorexics pretending to "finally be healthy"?
>computer load up celery man
Worst thread
>hungry
>no food in house
>think about what to buy at store
>absolutely nothing sounds good
>choose to sit and starve
What causes this problem? I don't understand how someone can be so hungry yet the thought of food is completely unappealing.
>>7429597
Same happens to me sometimes
Happens to me when depressed. I've gone a couple days on a cheese stick
>>7429597
You probably aren't hungry, just bored and seeking stimulus. When you are hungry you will definitely have cravings. Generally for specific foods that contain the nutrition your body needs. If you don't have cravings for something/everything then you aren't really hungry, just seeking the dopamine high that results from consuming food.
What's the general consensus on Andrew Zimmern?
I like him.
I think he's kind of obnoxious but not to the point that I'll turn the channel.
He is a hard man. He likes fucking, and drinking, and singing... but killing, killing's the thing he loves. He's just like me. Only smaller.
Dies /ck/ like chips?
The best
>>7426696
>chips
>not freedom fries
Heretic.
yes, I think I do
Why does /ck/ hate Tony?
>>7425964
Because /ck/ is even edgier than he is
Pompous, arrogant douche obsessed with being the quippiest and most passive aggressive in the room at all times. Like...chill the fuck out?
>>7425964
He is a prick and bashes the usa and americans every chance he gets.
