What's it like to travel and cook and be a personal chef?
How much do you charge? And do you make house calls?
I've always wanted to hire a professional personal chef for a night to cook for me, although it might seem weird my kitchen is in my basement just fyi.

Alright, like lots of people I can't eat onion, garlic, shallots, leek etc. due to IBS. But it seems like about 100% of recipes call for at least one of these ingredients.
What are /ck/'s protips for getting flavor into dishes without the Allium genus? How can I adapt existing recipes?

Fennel bulb + olive oil has a good amount of flavor, unless that triggers your IBS too
