do you /turk/ ck?
I've always enjoyed turkish coffee at kebab turkish restaurants or kebab houses, but have been starting to making it at home. Just bought some african coffee beans from the supermarket, set their grinder to "turkish", added in some cinnamon, cardamon and star anise, and now I have a bag of the shit good to go. Even froths up when you add it to boiling water, just like it should. I've ordered a cezve, should be hilarious to make coffee in one of those.
Wow I should proofread my posts. I sound like English wasn't my first language.

I always liked this coffee, its rich tasting and if you add equal parts milk takes on a chocolate milk taste. Only bad thing is, takes some getting use to, stuff can make you run to the toilet.
Where can I order food grade Calcium Oxide (Quicklime) shipped to a residential address?
It's for making Century Eggs
I ate one and it was truly disgusting. The texture was neat, but you can get those textures elsewhere.
Quicklime can be found at hardware stores, nurseries, or anywhere that sells outdoor maintenance supplies.
Why not make some Vrigin Boy Eggs instead?
So far, I don't really care for these things. I'm about a quarter way into the jar though.
Is there something I can serve these with or on, so they taste a little less bitter?
cum
Chop em up with ground beef and fry em in a burger.
Honestly olives are one of those fruits that have a huge difference between shit tier mass produced ones and high tier artisan ones. Try to shelll out some extra dosh next time if you decide to give em another chance

What he said.
I personally can eat them raw. You might want to try something to counter the saltiness. Either that or go full salty. Like with anchovies.
We all agree that people who pour their milk in the bowl first before the cereal are walking subhuman failures who should be exiled from civilized society, right?
People who still eat milk and cereal are too young to be posting here.

No one does that, anyone who says they do are just memeing at you or wanting to give off the appearance that they're different.

Pull your weight and/or stop acting like a little bitch.
Act crazy if you need to, kitchen rules are basically prison rules, and nobody fucks with crazy as long as you pull your weight.

Those were the cooks I always spent more time with and helped unless they were lazy then I rode them like a 2 dollar whore.
What is /ck/'s opinion on fondue? I've never had it, and the on,y place that I know of that serves it is at least an hour drive away from me.
>>7552505
It's one of my guiltiest pleasures, 10/10.
I've never had fondue from an establishment but if it's half as good as what you would do at home it's fuckin worth it. So fuckin good.
If you don't live somewhere that it's common it's going to be overpriced, gimmicky, and probably mediocre.
I spent a month in a French town right on the Swiss border and had fondue (and raclette) 2-3 times a week, and it's one of my favorite foods. It's really just a big pain to make at home, and a disappointment at hold-over chain restaurants from the 80's.

So I'm an apartment dweller with a small patio and I miss having a grill. Anybody use pic related? Getting desperate here.
If in the US use Craigslist. Weber 22" if you can fit it. 18" if you cant. You can probably get one for $40. People always buy them then give up on learning how to use them and buy gas. I have tons of grills that i have bought and given away. Cheapest one ive bought was 25$ and it came with a chiminey.
>>7551926
Yeah I'm looking specifically for a propane grill since I need to bring it through my living room. Was scouting craigslist as well. How do the small grills usually work in terms of cooking? Any brands to avoid?
>>7551945
How big of a grill do you want? What is the price range? Etc.
>white meat
>is actually pink
>White people
>They actually range from red to a light beige colour
>german people
