How long it takes to kids start to eat 'everything"?
Well not everything, but most of the food. I have a 10 years old sister, and she still doesn't like anything, she only eats rice, meat and potatoes, that's it. Sometime chicken and tomatoes. But nothing else.
Im kind of worry about her, what can I and my parents do to make her eat more food?
>>7551406
>I have a 10 years old sister, and she still doesn't like anything,
You can't
Girls are a bit silly, my sister would only eat certain foods on certain days of the week.
Expect her to have a 'vegetarian phase' next.
When they get to the phase where they have to buy their own food or they experience running out of food, will they be able to enjoy "everything"
Depends on the kid. I was picky until I was 20.
It might be anxiety or sensory issues. Certain textures and smells used to make me instantly gag.
What does wildboar taste like? I want to eat a whole wildboar like Obelix.
>>7551271
It tastes like pork but stronger. But I guess it depends on what they eat and where they live.
>>7551271
tastes nutty, if it's forest boar
field boars are more like normal pig, but also gamy
btw you really, REALLY want to use a thermometer
Hello cu/ck/s,
I need your help with something. Trying to save some money and realized that I've been spending too much money on being lazy with food these days. Because I have nothing in the house that lasts long and is simple to make I end up ordering pizza, etc.
What foods can I stock that will last a while and that I can prepare to make something simple and fast?
Right now all I have is pasta with various sauces such as tomato, pesto, etc.
Please note that I have some food intolerance, namely I can't have any type of beans, dairy or spicy food.
Thanks lads!
Other grains, such as rice, spelt, corn, millet, buckwheat. Other forms of wheat, such as couscous, bulgur and semolina. Flours, starches and gruel, such as cornmeal and potato starch. Canned foods such as fish and meat, whole tomatoes. Nuts, seeds and nut butters, oils, vinegar, protein powder. Instant mashed potatoes. If you have a freezer, you want to buy frozen seafood, meat and vegetables intended for cooking.
>>7551254
That's a nice list of food that I can stock for a while, but what can I make with that which is simple, fast and preferrably delicious.
Rice with canned wieners and tomatoes sucks...

I dont answer to memespouters
What is your favorite Chili's® food item, /ck/?
Everyone knows that More 'Life Happens at Chili's®'!
What is your favorite Chili's food item, /ck/?
>>7551219
Meh not a huge fan of chili's but I like their skillet queso.
Their chicken crispers are my idea of chicken perfection with their batter and deep fried goodness. They aren't tenders. They are crispers and come with two vegetables. It's like grown up tenders.
I quite like their broccoli and feta crunch wrap supreme and the chicken is always good there.
>discussion is always steak fries vs french fries vs wedges
>the clearly superior thin frites is left out
those aren't fries those are long cut hash browns
>>7551111
Oh, you mean McDonalds delicious hot, fresh fries?
>>7551111
Looks interesting, I've been experimenting with fries made in a pan, so far they're still a little wet.
I guess that could make them crispier.
i just ate 2 entire bagels plain while in bed
help me
>>7550997
were they good?
just drink some water
>>7551004

i didnt drink any water but i had some applesauce
>>7551009

I did and dear fucking god, it was literally the greasiest chicken I've ever even imagined. I like fried chicken And understand the grease factor, but this shit was out of control.
>the drumstick was greasy, but not so bad you wanted to throw up. Still way too greasy, but edible and not terrible
>slice into the thigh, and a flood of grease pours out leaving a quarter inch pool of grease in the serving dish it comes with
Did anybody actually like this?
It's like it was injected with grease right before serving
How is this still on the market?
Grow a pair.

So now we not only have McDonalds shills but also anti-everything except McDonalds shills.
It was colon cleanse in chicken form.
The bun is tiny.
Looks bad on the inside, too.
>>7550661
That's what she said
>eating cold food because you stopped to take pictures of things nobody cares about
How long do soft cheeses last? I bought a whole wheel of camemebert back in march, and it's supposed to go bad this saturday, but does it really?
>>7550643
Expiration dates are usually far before the food actually goes bad. Eat it until it makes you feel sick
>>7550643
Tbh senpai I wouldn't risk it with cheese. I don't fuck with that.
It doesn't go bad, it just ripens.
When it's too ripe for your tastes get rid of it.
How the fuck do you bake pumpkin pie properly? I've never had trouble baking, but pumpkin pie I just do not understand. My problem is the consistency. It comes out goopy after 10 mins 425F, 45 minutes 350F. I let it cool, then fridge it and it's still goopy. Only once did I get it to be firm but I used a shit ton of corn starch solution. Help? I want firm pumpkin pie
>pumpkin pie
is it thanksgiving already?
>>7550591
It's just something I want to be able to do properly
also atheists 1 god 0
I assume you're using a 9 in pan? How much sugar are you using?
I used between 2/3 and 1 cup of sugar mixed with evaporated milk (don't use condensed milk).
>newest food craze
>it's just jellied water
what the fuck?
It's JAPANESE gelatin.
And it's VEGAN.

>No link

I fucking hate hipster foods. That article was so cringey and stupid.
>it has practically zero calories!
>now we add a bunch of flour and sugar

Soooo....?
They removed naturally occurring fat from food. Because "it's fat free" is a huge diet craze among the plebs. Then to make it taste good again. They pumped it full of HFCS.
I'm gonna get drunk, play smite or league and then make ramen.
I currently have top ramen beef and a bunch of shin ramyun packets (no black, just normal spicy).
I have eggs and slices of cheddar or havarti to add....my question is: preparation and veggies.
My frozen veggies are peas and spinach (chopped). I also have canned veggies (no mushrooms though).
Usually I just heat water in a percolator and pour it over the ramen and powder into my ramen bowl and then I just add an egg and try to move it under the noodles so that it poaches. At this point I pop a slice of medium cheddar, havarti, or gouda on top.
How do I up my ramen game?
Dip your balls in the broth while it's still boiling family.
>i'm going to get drunk and make a foie gras torchon, blackberry compote, and fresh baguette
>then i want to play some video games but all i have on my tablet is bejeweled and yo noid on an nes emulator
>how do i up my vidya game
This is what you sound like. How would your video game boards respond if I started a thread there with the above?
>>7550259
Don't add spinach, that's gross.
Cook it in a pot you degenerate.
I bought 8 porkchops that have been in my fridge that have a sell by date of 28Mar2016. They have lost of bit of the pink tinge and are looking slightly less colored (but not yet grey or truly discolored).
Are these still good?
>>7550180
yes you tard
use google next time, or better yet the smell test
>>7550186
I bought them like a month ago almost tho
>>7550180
