ITT:How to trigger autist on /ck/ in one picture
I only have $300 for food next month... I can I make the work?
>I can I make the work
Probably not
>>8725108
if you can't figure out how to eat on $10/day or less you deserve to starve
you sure as hell don't deserve a serious, helpful response, but here we go:
>rice
>beans
>instant ramen
>pb&j
>tuna in a can
just eat loaves of bread, but a lot of them
Trying this again:
Hello, /ck/. Recently got a new smoker and want some ideas on what to smoke. I'll start with pic related.
>pound of beef tenderloin
>mixed conola oil with minced garlic, black pepper, salt
>smoke on mesquite at 225 degrees for 4 hours, flipping and basting every 30 mins
>sear on a hot fire for two mins a side
Crispy on the outside, tender and bloody inside.
Tell me your smoke recipes!
>tenderloin
That's not what's smoking is typically for.
Try a tougher cut in the future and smoke it for 12-18 hours.

ITT: things you regret you've done while drinking
Got into a fist fight and exploded diarrhoea all over some guy's bathroom.
Both on the same night. Was too embarrassed to see those people ever again so deleted my facebook, changed my number and dropped off the face of the earth.

Sent a text to a girl I knew and didn't even like offering to bang her. Would not have fucked her sober, thankfully she declined.
Does /ck/ match their food with certain musics?
I'm eating some butter chicken, what songs would go well with it?
As a side note I eat a lot of pizza, what's the best pizza music?

This is hands down the best pizza music
Name a product flavor that's good more often than it is bad.

Artificial watermelon flavoring is way better than the taste of an actual watermelon.
Cool Ranch

What's the best chili recipe you know of?
>>8722584
Moroccan braised beef chili.
related question, has anyone here ever tried espresso in chili? random chick I've met swears by it (about 1 espresso cup per pot), but I don't have an espresso maker, and can't really try it out at home.
>>8722599
I've never heard of anyone using espresso specifically, but it is pretty common to hear about people putting coffee in chili. I can't imagine the results would be very different between the two given all the other flavors involved in the finished dish. Personally I don't care for how it tastes, but adding coffee is certainly a thing some people do.
how the fuck do i get the onion/garlic smell off my hands if thats all i fuck with at work all day
pic related sounds like absolute new age bullshit
Rub baking soda on your hands.
>>8722100
Hold a wooden spoon in your mouth when your chopping it
>>8722100
Pic related works great. Though you don't need to buy a silly gadget for it, just rub your hands on anything made of stainless steel. The inside of your sink, the handle of a piece of cutlery, etc.
Another food gore thread, here we go.

This looks like it might be good, I mean it's just carbs wrapped in what appears to be ground beef covered in bacon.

hey /ck/, shitty uncultured american here.
what's your opinion on bigelow tea? I'm currently digging the vanilla chamomile & honey and the spiced chai.
also, how do you prepare your tea? Is "bag, milk, sugar, hot water" considered the proper way?
tea (and other /comfy/ beverage) thread
Bagged tea is shit. Do yourself a favor and buy loose tea instead.
>>8727499
>american
desu it's not going to make a difference on plebness
Most brits are tea plebs.
Bigelow is cheap and easy but serviceable if you just want something hot to drink and you're going to put a bunch of shit in it.
The "proper" way is water (at the correct temperature), and tea (for the correct amount of time, remove from water after), and nothing else.
But honestly, who gives a fuck if you're just buying cheap grocery store tea to drink something warm and sweet.
You'll probably get snobby replies, but what you're doing is serviceable unless you want to reeeeaaaally get into tea.

i remember a few months ago he used to post the videos here before it went viral, had like 8 or 10 and with a small qty of views, im glad that quality is sometimes apreciated between all the memes on youtube, but i dont like the direction its taking for ASMR and some memes, but well, its entertainment and views anyway
Fillet mignon is one worst steaks you can order unless its wagyu beef or better.
Tenderloin is for wankers, plonkas, dimwits, twits, twats, mongoloids and people who've lost the plot in general.
It's also for women who choose to order it on dates for reasons other than the flavor of the steak.
1. The description "petite" fillet mignon makes them seem more dainty and feel better about themselves.
2. Very tender so their weak jaw muscles can fully masticate the meat
3. Smaller portion size allows them to eat less so they can be prepared to get plowed by the man who took them to a steakhouse and not be inconvenienced by shitting later in the night.
Prove me wrong.

Lol wtf
So much projection in one tiny post.

what are you doing with the fennel?
If you want a fancy chunk of meat for a special occasion where do you go? Local butchers suck, trying to get shit shipped in.
How do your local butchers suck, exactly? If mine sucked then I'd be driving to the next town over..
>>8726992
all the old school butchers in Phoenix went out of business and they were top-class, they lost out to budget places, that was like 25 years ago
>>8726991
>get shit shipped in
doesn't your butcher do exactly that? every one around here does
>hey, frank, you've some mutton?
>no, can have by thursday, what cut and how much you want?
>hey, I know christmas is always tricky, but can you get me deer, preferrably back?
>best I can do is leg, sry.
how do people live without that? does everyone but me hunt themselves?
