Tell me this doesn't look good.

That doesn't look good.
That doesn't look good.
Like seriously, what is it?
Scallops with wal-mart brand hot-sauce, with some powdered ramen flavoring on top?
yeah, real fuken neato.

currywurst
What are your thoughts on pho? I made my own last night and thats what I will be having for dinner. Its simple, but tough to get the seasonings right to make it taste like the restaurant. I used oxtails and beef bones and have some rare beef and tendon meatballs to go with it.
What Pho does /ck/ like?
PS: I made Bun bo hue the other night. Tastes ok but the shrimp paste really threw me off. I couldn't get over the fermented shrimp shell taste it gave to the soup.
>>8727495
i don't like it, i don't get the pho craze
>>8727500
my good friend doesn't like it either. He calls it "that noodle soup with leaves floating in it."
I liked it before hipsters caught onto it.
Now I won't eat it.

theres green stuff and there isnt enough ketchup and bun for those sausages.

Franks red hot though
Gotta get your fiber and trace micro nutrients.
As an American, what's a good source of meat that I can use for Tartare? I've always wanted to make it but the percentage of 'safe'(most likely not diseased) meat is dubious at best here
>>8727389
A cow, or deer if you can judge diseased animals, but I'm assuming that's a negatory.
>>8727389
Phrased that a little poorly, I mean what can I look for to make sure the meat is from a quality place instead of some filthy hellhole with hundreds of thousands of cows in the same facility
>>8727406
Hairnets, make sure they are wearing hairnets. Or just stop by the liquor store and pick up a handle of vodka.
So simple, yet so genius
Buttered spaghetti > ketchup'd spaghetti
>>8727128
do americans really do this?
>>8727128
that better be sriracha
>At Subway, there's no such thing as no!
What do you ask?
Will you be my gf?
>>8726948
why don't you put on a hairnet?
>>8726948
What's the opposite of yes?
Who here hates the FUCK out of donuts?
The only ones I actually enjoy are the plain cake donuts. Pic related.
>>8726715
I like those, with a very light glaze.
I don't hate them, but I do agree that the plain cake ones are awesome. I don't like icing or gritty sugar at all, unless it's soft chocolate or maple icing. The raspberry jam filled ones are great too, but hurt my stomach.

Bought this while shopping today, how would you prep and cook this steak?
>>8726606
Well done with 'chup
>>8726606
boil that bad boy for juiciest result
Anyone here marinade their steak in milk for about 10 minutes before grilling? Just curious because some dude I work with does.

That's a relationship-ender right there.
Why are fried pickles suddenly becoming a meme food? I'd never even heard of these until a month ago, and now I see this shit everywhere.
That's because you live in your basement, faggot.

Christ, they've been common in the south for decades. But of course we fry everything, even butter.
ITT: Odd dished from your country
Do other countries, other than Germany, eat Toast Hawaii/Hawaii Toast? It's pretty delicious but more of a meme food here in Germany, I guess.
It's basically a piece of bland white bread, spread with a bit of butter or margarine, a slice of ham, a slice of (canned) pineapple and a slice of processed cheese on top that's been baked in the oven until the cheese is melted. Optional: A bit of cowberry jam or a maraschino cherry on top. I usually skip the last part though.
>>8725965
That looks like some of those cringeworthy American advertisements from the 50's and 60's.
I've never seen or heard of anyone eating it here though.
>>8725965
did someone say hawaii-toast?
This, we know how to hotdog, somehow its not reckonized.
My good friend is getting married and they aren't registered anywhere. They are a, well, fat couple and love food so I feel that a /ck/ related gift is appropriate. I was thinking deep fryer but am open to ideas. Any other ideas for a cool gift? I'm willing to spend up to $300.
If you think a deep fryer is a good choice, recommend one.
Thanks, guys.
>>8725814
Heavy waffle irons make good gifts. It's not something most people would go buy for themselves but they're extremely useful, especially for fatties.
>>8725814
Get them a couple of extra large caskets for when their greasy hearts give out.
Yeah, that's a good message to send to the groom: "your wife is never going to get any thinner; might as well not even try".
Maybe try a Vitamix instead.

You used hot sauce instead of the GOAT fire sauce, pleb

-paper plate
-no knife
-shitty ass frozen waffles instead of fresh made
-I'm guessing that's probably some kind of shit-tier fake maple syrup (if it's the real thing, my apologies)
-irregular application of syrup
