This happened a few weeks ago but similar things keep happening to me
>be me
>getting ready to go out
>it's around 12 at night
>standing near my bedroom door
>bend down to tie my shoe
>out of the corner of my eye see person running
>think it's a burglar and grab my bat
>run towards the person who has now stopped
>as I approach I notice it isn't a person but that it's made of what I think is dust
>thing turns around
>The Thing and I stare at each other for a solid minute
>Not literally stare because the thing had no eyes or any facial features.
>just a blank face
>after that minute which felt like an hour is over the dust which it's made of disperses and disappears
Does anyone here know what this is?

Figure this board is the place to ask

The top right of my head hurts after I meditated recently. It even did a weird "pop" thing and I almost passed out and maybe even could have if I "forced" it

For some background. Only been meditation for like a couple months I do it when I wake up and my method is basically to not really think about anything which I think is "mindfulness" style meditation techniques

Am I giving myself brain damage or breaking down the ego towards enlightenment basically is my question

Are there any Odinists about? I'm struggling to find any good amount of information on it on the internet. I'd like to learn more, and I'm interested in converting to it.

All I really know is that it's considered a "heathen" religion, notes multiple gods with Odin being the allfather (hence the name), and that it's either Vanir or both Aesir and Vanir.

There's also a difference between Odinism and Asatru, from what I gather, and I'm primarily interested in Odinism.

Any information helps, but specifically, what should one -do- as an Odinist? How do you get started? What are some good materials to branch into it? What are some good respects to pay as you make your way into it?

I've also read that it requires a certain heritage, could someone enlighten me on that? I'm Irish/English.
