This happened a few weeks ago but similar things keep happening to me
>be me
>getting ready to go out
>it's around 12 at night
>standing near my bedroom door
>bend down to tie my shoe
>out of the corner of my eye see person running
>think it's a burglar and grab my bat
>run towards the person who has now stopped
>as I approach I notice it isn't a person but that it's made of what I think is dust
>thing turns around
>The Thing and I stare at each other for a solid minute
>Not literally stare because the thing had no eyes or any facial features.
>just a blank face
>after that minute which felt like an hour is over the dust which it's made of disperses and disappears
Does anyone here know what this is?
I also have more stories if anyone is interested

Okay here's another story that happened a few days later
>be me
>go to library
>early morning so it's just me and the librarian and a a few other people
>sit in an isolated corner so I can read in peace
>spend 30 minutes just reading
>I remember that I should go to work
>After I put the book back I notice that same thing again
>thing is looking through a bookshelf
>it turns and looks at me
>thing keeps walking towards me
>when it gets within half a meter of me the dust it's made of disperses
>within 10 seconds some guy walks over to the place where the thing was standing at first
>completely mimics what the thing did seconds earlier
>when he's half a meter from me he starts talking to me
>I'm nearly shitting my pants by then but act normal
>talk about books for a few minutes and then I excuse myself and leave
>avoided that guy every time I came back to the library
