Why did game freak make the destiny knot so shitty to acquire in sun and moon? Battle Royal is straight garbage and farming these 48 points has almost killed my desire to play the game at all. I have attempted the pick up method as an alternative but my god that's just as atrocious.

Anything that has more than 10 pictures in its category gets a folder, everything else sits in the pile. All pictures have enough of a name that I can search them out if needed.

Sup, I'm new to EV system.
I decided to train my pokemon on route 16, since there are a lot of pelipper.
However after killing around 12 of them when my pokemon leveled up and its defense stat raised by only 4!
I only killed pelipper, no other pokemon. I don't understand. Why is this happening?
Regarding the information I collected, it should' ve gotten more DEF... ??

If I'm not mistaken, they changed it so Pokemon passively get points added while EV training in Gen V. This makes it so level 100 Pokemon can actually get EV trained as the extra points aren't added on level up anymore.

This is correct. It'll have the EV points added correctly, they just get distributed along all 100 levels.
Go to it's status screen, and hit Y. It'll shift it's stats to it's EV grid. If you maxed out a stat, it'll shimmer. If you maxed out all EV's the graph will turn blue.

Is Oricorio as terrible as people make them out to be? I'm getting the game soon and Oricorio (specifically Pompom) is the Pokemon I'm most excited about using but it seems like the general opinion is that it's a shitmon. Is it Ledian tier or is it possible for me to take it to the elite 4 with it?

It's a decent ingame flying type with flying type moves, but its only secondary stab is revelation dance at level 40. People were disappointed. Shame, because the real animal group was neat if not equally pitiful.

Mine has been with me the entire game, and it's pretty damn useful imo for lowering stats and setting up. It helped me with nearly all the bosses.
It's only considered a shitmon due to its movepool like >>30612923 and >>30613456 say, but it all depends on how you use it I think. Pom-pom's pretty good in the early part of the game with the only thing to watch out for are Rock types and very late in the game Ice.
Mine had Air Slash, Feather Dance, Revelation Dance, and Captivate to keep me going.
