The most straightforward way is to use a homebrew save dumping tool like JKSM, and use PKHeX to edit the file itself.

Just copy and paste one of the patched code.bins into SD:/luma/code_sections
Hold select when booting Luma to open up the config menu, turn on "Enable region/language emu. and ext. .code" and press start
>HBL (New 3DS only, otherwise use Luma)
Extract the patched code.bins and rename them to 00175E00.code for Moon and 00164800.code for Sun.
Place it in SD:/hans/
Start up the homebrew menu and open HANS, open Pokemon through it.
Finally, use the in-game QR scanner and you're golden.

How are you guys coming along? Longest win streak?
I was able to get 20 wins with Xurkitree, Buzzwole, and Toxapex before losing to Colress and his Mega Metagross, partly because I was being retarded.
I was able to scout Cynthia and Grimsley so hopefully that will help with multi battles.

Not the most balanced team but I still whooped ass. Lost to an Avalugg because I didn't know it was packing earthquake and it killed the only thing that could deal with it on the switch. My Golisopod almost beat it but all of it's moves were resisted by it so it just got whittled down.
