What's more interesting are the HA Pokémon you can't obtain in gen VI and VII because they have as of now only been distributed in Dream World or their form can only be obtained in gen V.

Dewpider and Araquanid can only found in one area in the region. But Araquanid is on a completely different island.
Crabrawler can only be found in berry piles and can't evolve unless you level it up in an area that's not accessible until the very end of the campaign where by now he's dead weight.
You can't catch Mareanie in the wild at all. It can only be summoned by a Corsola.
Most of Gen 7's pokemon have very low encounter rates.

So, guys, I might, maybe, start a romhack on this idea surfaced on another thread.

Why did these assholes bother giving any sort of release date without giving an exact day?
Remember the original wait for the initial fucking release? Remember that feeling of dread and anxiety while waiting for the fucking app to drop in the first place?
Why the fuck would they want to recreate that feeling again in their immense fanbase? It was already a huge blow when they didn't have bank ready for Sun and Moon on day fucking one.
So we're forced to wait, and how is our patience rewarded? By making us sit here and wonder every day "where the fuck is it?" At least if there was a specific date set for release, we would all KNOW when it's coming and didn't have to sit here twiddling our thumbs in the dark, constantly asking "is it here yet!?"
Stop doing this to your fans Game Freak.

Personally, I prefer older protags. The romances feel less awkward, and it's less ridiculous for a 17 year old to save the world than for a 10 year old to do the same.
