I am a little bummed, yes. Andromeda was very flawed, but I still wanted to see where they would take it. I really like the Mass Effect series and I'm sad it came to this. Hopefully, there will be other games like this sometime in the future, but until then, fuck.

I put 100 hours into my one playthrough of persona 5. If you want to try to do everything in that game you'll spend at least 150 hours, likely more. Doubt any of the other games will give you more bang for your buck.

P5. One playthrough alone will take you at least 75-80 hours.

To me Kratos is what a good video game character is: just a vessel by which to destroy shit with. Like Doomguy, Duke, whatever, he's badass. They really overdid it after the first one. The only game fresh on my mind is 3, but when you use that innocent lady to hold open the gears of a gate, and then later when you just smash the face of some peasants while climbing on shit while the world falls apart.

This wasn't Todd's game.

It was alright, a pretty cool experiment and a big chance by Nintendo to make their Mario launch title for the GC not just a horror game (I use that term lightly) but also one starring Luigi.

I wish they experimented more with the brand, at least we got Captain Toad.

Just find the ScummVM collection on a tracker and use that. The Remaster pretty much only makes the resolution a bit higher and adds native controller support, but neither is really necessary to enjoy it.

If you can get it cheap, I'd go for Remastered if only because it fixed a lot of the bugs the original had. Plus, it's got commentary which is always fun to hear in games. But if you can find a good download of the original, then the VM option is just as good. It's definitely not like the recent remasters of other adventure games where they overhauled the artwork.

Unless you're pirating, don't play the remaster. You'd be giving any money, at all, to Double Fine.

It's single-handedly one of the worst controllers I have ever had the displeasure of holding. And yes, I'm including mad catz shit. Everything about the controller feels flimsy and cheap. It's light. The buttons feel terrible. The stick is okay, I guess. But christ, those pads. Terrible to touch, un-responsive, awkward to maneuver. It's really just awful on all fronts. The only way I could possibly recommend it is if you have to, and I mean absolutely fucking HAVE to play a mouse-only game with a controller. How they got away with peddling this dumpster-tier hardware is beyond me.

Just save up a little money and get a 360 controller on the cheap or any of the current-gen pro controllers

Probably the closest you can possibly get to a mouse/keyboard when using touchpad aim + gyroscope controlls. I had a lot of fun playing Left 4 Dead 2 with it. Works great with everything from FPS games to Minecraft.

Has ridiculously good controller config ability, allowing you to set up controls in nearly any way you can concieve.

Cons? I did manage to brick it during an update once, but unbricking is as simple as holding the trigger while you plug it in, and literally dragging and dropping a new binary on just like a flash drive file (there are tutorials for this).

Don't bother with a Steam Link unless you absolutely must play Steam games in another room than your main rig. Video quality is great and lag is nearly zero, but it's a $50 expense.
